Honestly over the years, that is the main thing that has kept me going. I believe that if I can find ways to move myself emotionally while I’m creating, that eventually those feelings will move through others as well, when they listen to my music or see me perform. It’s all about creating opportunities for real connections with others. That’s what I’m after. Connection.” says the artist

Hip-hop is one of the most innovative genres in recent memory, yet the roots get muddied with each passing day. Mxx Bet’s flair for the golden era of ‘90s rap helps him craft a nostalgic sound that blends the best of the lyric-heavy boom-bap of that time with today’s more melodic trap records.
The Las Vegas native is a student of the game, looking towards artists like Jay-Z for the hustler’s attitude and Eminem for wordplay, as well as a myriad of artists from a variety of genres to teach him how to resonate with listeners no matter the genre. Over the years he has overcome the loss of his mother at a young age and growing up with a gambling addiction and felony convictions to lead the way to a better life. While the music has brought joy and great fun, it as also proved to be therapeutic to share his story with a larger audience and give hope to future generations that they too can overcome adversity. This is all executed with his innate lyricism and unwavering confidence behind the mic as Mxx Bet looks to leave his mark for generations to come. Mxx Bet has released a new track called 24 hours – the single is about trying to break away from the opportunist way of life and at the same time detaching from society due to social distancing. From the “The West Coast Offense” album re-release, Independent Artists “Independent rap duo ‘Cohorts’ overcomes Coronavirus lockdown by re-releasing an album”.
Cohorts has rearranged, remixed, and remastered their previously released album “The West Coast Offense.” The idea for this was sparked after an unfortunate hard drive crash, which resulted in this version having less songs than the original. A crashed hard drive, and a pandemic lockdown doesn’t have to be all bad, evidenced by this artistic endeavor. Cohorts’ musical projects are all geared towards the grown and sexy crowd, and are all produced by Kartuush. Parental Advisory label is required. RawNaked Entertainment is the label that releases these offerings. “The West Coast Offense” was originally released back in 2011. The re-release version will be available soon. However The first single titled, “You Can’t Beat L.A.” is currently available for streaming and downloads here: cohorts.hearnow.com
Cohorts’ was founded in 2009. Long time friends, and musical cohorts; group members C Money and General are from the Compton, and south Los Angeles areas respectively. Banded Future is an American hip hop duo formed in 2021 in Los Angeles, California, consisting of rappers/singers Zap Rath and Jericho Law. In addition to their intricate lyrics, catchy melodies, and positive messages, the duo is best known for their musical abilities as both members play over a dozen musical instruments. The name Banded Future has several meanings. It projects the ideal of a more unified world. But, it also refers to bringing back the “band” or musicality to a very electronic and automated music industry. The name also refers to the duo earning their “bands” or stripes as successful veterans in the entertainment industry.
If there’s one word to describe this group, it’s “different.” They break all the rules and don’t think twice about it. They will mix genres, dress in costumes, address social issues, reach across generational gaps, and produce unconventional content. Banded Future is about more than music, and this isn’t another group trying to create an audience; instead they are creating a community. They want their fans to be involved and inspired by their mission. The goal is for their music to be a springboard for positively impacting the lives of their listeners.
Banded Future’s new single “Good Day” once again highlights their talents as they play every instrument on the track and literally form choirs of melodies just between the two of them. If that wasn’t enough, the song has a familiar catchiness that will instantly remind listeners of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” or Andre 3000’s “Hey Yah.” Banded Future, however, remains true to their depth with Good Day taking us where hip hop rarely goes. The song actually addresses mental health issues, and the infectious chorus is really a faith-filled mantra. A stark contrast from their debut single “We Don’t Care,” this song is “fun music” that is more in line with the nature of the group. All it takes is one listen, and “Good Day” will have you hooked!

“I prefer to be formless, like water,” JM says. “I once heard a quote from Bruce Lee that said ‘If you put water in a vase, it becomes the vase,’ so put me in any music genre, and I become the genre, like water.”
Much like his genre-melding yet fluid ‘formless’ musical creations, Jesus Muhammed as an artist is a bit of an enigma. Music – for JM – comes to his mind in mental waves and flashes of colors, shapes and patterns.
Whether he has a mild form of the fascinatingly weird disorder known as synesthesia or it’s just the way his musical brain works – whatever the source of his genius, it’s a mesmerizing mix of electronica, hip hop rhythms, other-worldly vocals and street-style rhyming that he creates.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Saint Albans, Queens, JM took music lessons from a former James Brown guitarist, and was surrounded by 1950s pop and 70s reggae played by his music-loving parents. They bought JM and his brother a full set-up of instruments as they were growing up, but while his mother hoped he’d learn to play classic pop songs, JM instead wanted to bring to life the music he heard in his head. “When I first started making music, I was excited and anxious – I wanted to create more than I wanted to chase tale,” he says. “Creating music keeps me alive.”
A self-described loner and artsy brooding character as a teen, JM’s life revolved around his Walkman and a ton of CDs in his book bag. He wrote lyrics as a child, but it was a friend in High School that spurred him on to compete in rap battles – he would battle rappers and spoken-word artists from other neighborhoods, then go home and write more scathing rhymes to be ready for the next day’s battle. His musical passion turned serious as he started a group called tha Villianz Gang. They played some shows and had a great time, but massive egos and internal strife tore the group apart. JM’s rap-battle talent and reputation quickly exceeded his competition, so he decided to ratchet his music career up another level with a music manager. He’d go on to perform in small New York City venues, paying his music dues (as they call it) and learning the ropes of the music business and performing.
JM used this time to begin reinventing himself as an artist and knew that he was going to start making his own rules for his music and career. JM came out of his reinvention musically reborn, focusing intently on the visual aspect of his music, and the mystery.
‘Tellin’ You’ is as song that represents the artist’s feelings towards his significant other. The song starts with a catchy hook, with easy to follow melodies, as well as nice harmonies. As the verse comes in, the lyrics and delivery get a little more explicit, but still maintains that easy to listen to vibe.

Lilbreez is an independent artist who found his love for music when he was very young. Lilbreez is a 14 year old singer/rapper and was born in New Brunswick New Jersey. It was not easy growing up for Lilbreez as a little boy. There was a lot of toxic behavior on a daily basis and it was not financially stable. At just 22 years of age, he already has a variety of releases under his belt and a long list of collaborations to his name. As a contemporary artist, LunniieeWyld is creating innovative music that is at the cutting edge of the scene.
He started composing and recording his original music from a young age. The songwriting and performance process was a cathartic way to express his thoughts, feelings, and ideas. LunniieeWyld found music as a way out emotionally and mentally. Ever since he discovered his natural talent he has been honing and developing his craft. Now, he is an accomplished lyricist and composer.
The artist is inspired by a diverse number of hip-hop legends. His style has been compared to Southern rappers such as André 3000, Scarface, Ludacris, J. Cole, and Lil Wayne to mention but a few. However, he has a distinctive and unique style that is absolutely one-of-a-kind in the hip-hop scene.
He is well known for his upbeat hip-hop music that has a strong lyrical flow. There is also a dark edge to his compositions that really make him stand out in the industry. His lyrics are direct, honest, and authentic and they delve into his life and his personal insights. It’s impossible to listen to the artist’s lyrics and not find them relatable and true.
His style blurs the lines between the warmth of old-school hip-hop and the creativity of the modern scene. This is because it features melody and energy in equal doses.
In his career, he has always explored and created music to make himself feel alive. He uses his raw natural talent to connect with others and make a difference through the power of music.
He recently featured on the track “Life We Livin” and opened for popular artists such as Big Hookz and Cknight From The Dove Shack, among many others. His live performances are noted for their energetic atmosphere and fast-paced setlist.

After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerged with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformations to reach this point as a hip hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.
There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects. The first project could’ve been the last. The reasons for making another project is AO does not give up so easily. Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.
From the beginning AO went by stage name King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters. The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label.
The Agency Operative went through another name change. AO decided to go with the name: A.O. C.entral C.ommand. The reason for another name change was that fans have the option to shorten the name A.O. C.C. or can say the entire name. “Another reason for the name change is the name would clarify that I am my own boss. The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot.””
A.O. CC returned on a mission with a new album – the name of the album was Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. The album was released on I-tunes and Google Play in 2015.
The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. Already putting in over 10 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third instalment to his discography with Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With – released in 2017.
A.O. C.entral C.ommand is stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight with his highly anticipated ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox.’ An album two years in the making, ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox’ has been a lengthy labor of love. Released at the end of 2019, this album is jam-packed with 15 tracks that represent this talented emcee to the fullest. Songs like “Damsels in Distress,” “Destination Destiny” and his current single “I Apologize” each bring a new story to life and keep the album flowing from start to finish. Especially, “I Apologize” which is his most recent, eye-catching video, out now.
Having known a lot of good and bad in his own life, A.O. C.entral C.ommand put shadows at the core of this album. He noted, “It represents the darkness in the light; when there is light in the darkness you see shadows,” adding, “Shadows represent standing up to our fears in moments of crisis.” A.O. C.entral C.ommand has been making music for nearly a decade.
He has recently released his latest ‘Do You Mind?’ from his latest body of work ‘Episode 5: Agency Agenda Phase One’.

SoulSonic, originally from Chicago, is a Producer and Composer of Conscious Hip-Hop and Hip-Hop Soul on the Alchemyst Audiomusic label out of Vegas.
Currently collaborating with lyricist and artist JordanL to create the soul soothing, energy releasing, rallying cry Hip-Hop Anthem RISE. JordanL is an established HipHop artist from Detroit, he brings ridiculous heat and thought inspiring lyrics in his music and delivery.
RISE is a Hip-Hop Anthem speaking on police brutality and world events in the Black community in a voice to mark and embrace the moment and our people. A righteous voice from the experience that the streets in all these cities has taught us, that we have been profiled, treated as less, abused by the power of morally bankrupt officers, and systemically discriminated against.
As a people, the majority in power has put that knee on our neck, from locking car doors when we pass, to crossing the street when we walk, to denying access to opportunity, to hunting us. We as a people have taken a knee, but we as a people also RISE.
SoulSonic to creatively addresses inequities I have seen, personally experienced, or was made aware of as I grew up. RISE is written in 2020, but could have easily been among the songs played at any operation P.U.S.H rally (People United to Serve Humanity) occurring in Chicago in the 70s as well. Its the spirit, and the intention of the spirit that shapes the music. Chicago will always be part of my creative process.
I am drawn to the cinema of music. Music that makes your spirit rise, soar, reflect, or allows you space to contemplate quiet thoughts or the people and environment around you. This can be achieved boldly or subtly, the thoughts can be in the silences in-between the notes, as long as the music is intentional and present.
My inspiration comes from the Womenwho raised me, my mother Elizabeth, who’s passed, and the Woman I Love, my wife Jennifer. They are both remarkable women, souls and people. They are and were generous, caring, loving and optimistic beings in a world where it seems there is a little less light everyday.

A green artist, but insanely competent. Is it a certainty or a fantasy?
The answer calls out itself when conversing about Olivia who is debuting to illustrate the world who’s the leader here. Growing up and recognizing the souvenir she had for comprehending the commencement of the tones, the reason was clear and the initiative was seized, to polish the gift, she had restoring it into something stunning, something extraordinary which will bestow a “ray of shining light” onto others and a desire to thrive for and this ray of light was none other than Olivia who plunged to produce music that will bring serenity to everyone. You’re looking for a quality tune or two to pass the summer and help you get over the heat. Who isn’t? But we’ve got excellent news for you, because if you’re here for that, then we’ve got just the thing. We were lucky enough to hit upon an artist that will appeal to listeners of any genre through his smooth, melodic voice and his chill rhythm.
The man we’re talking about here is The Real King Marz, out of Logan, West Virginia. This American singer and songwriter has been on the rapping scene for a few years now, and in that time, he’s really affirmed himself as one of the guys you want to watch. Over the last four years, he’s consistently brought out quality music, and none more so than his latest offering, the album “Marz on Earth”.
As the name tells us, this brand new album deals with anything and everything to do with Earth and humanity, which is why we’re so convinced you’ll like it. You’re human, aren’t you?
The other reason why you’ll like tracks like “Application”, “Shade” or “What It Look Like” is Marz’s unique style and voice. His voice is thrilling, with just the right amount of edginess to it, and yet just enough softness to make him appeal to softer listeners. He doesn’t get in your face, yet he manages to show you his attitude. This guy’s strong, but also gentle. In other words, The Real King Marz’s voice is the perfect expression of humanity – it’s complex, melodic, soft and strong, vulnerable, yet full of attitude.
And as such, it’s a delight for the listener. On this album, you’ve got darker and slower tunes, like “Shade”, but also songs that lift the mood and give you a veritable taste of life in the hood, like “Drive Thru”.
The Real King Marz brings out a lot of sensibility on this latest track, and shows us just what it means to be a human, to love and be a father to your child. He also touches upon other important subjects like loyalty and friendship, and being true to yourself which, if we’re being honest, is what art is all about.
So do yourself a favour, and go listen to “Marz on Earth” if you haven’t already.
I know you’re tired of hearing about “the next big thing”. Trust me, I am too.
We keep being told that so-and-so artist is the one you need to be listening to, or that someone else is the one to watch, but in this case, he really is. I was just as surprised as you were, but this new artist I wanna talk to you about really is worth checking out.
Why? Because he’s exciting. Because he puts out good music that will obsess you days and even weeks from now. Because “Hour of Destiny” is quite possibly the best album I’ve heard in years, and that alone should be enough to get you to check it out. Seriously, do you know how much music I listen to? So when I say that, well, you better believe it.
“Hour of Destiny” comes at your from skilled hip hop artist La Stat, out of Hartford CT. A man with a deep passion for music and a complex understanding of sound and rhythm, La Stat knew early on that this was the way for him to go, and he’s followed his passion relentlessly ever since his youth.
And you feel that in his music. Songs like “Playin Fa Keeps”, sure, that’s one of the bangers on this album, one of those songs that you feel deep in your bones as ringing true and honest. In fact, I think that’s one of the things that really gets me about this artist – the profound honesty and heartfelt quality of each lyric.
“Hour of Destiny” is choc-full of great examples of that. Tracks like “Soulful Represent” that speak to you about life and about the role of art in the 21st century. “Soulful Represent” is a compelling exercise in introspection, and since we all do that more or less constantly, it’s easy to see why it’s such a catchy, memorable tune.
Then of course, we’ve got the more hardcore, filled with attitude songs like “Fear No Man”. The type of music that gives listeners the strength to go on and helps them feel strong, like they can take on the world. And that’s exactly what music should do. Good music, at least.
Each track on La Stat’s album fills you with a unique eotion and I could probably fill another page or ten talking about what I feel listening to his killer rhythm. But honestly, I think it’d be even better if you hit the play button and just saw what his music makes you feel, instead.

DISCOVER UK DRILL TRAP GRIME 2020: With over one hundred thousand streams, West Thurrock UK drill artist wins all the Rap battles on Rap Trap Radio with dope new release ’20 Style II’ infecting the UK youth nationwide – Discover Rap Rap Radio on the playlist
Based in West Thurrock, Essex, Dyego first got into music by performing in rap battles in high school, which slowly turned into studio sessions.
Since then, Dyego’s trademark catchy punchlines rapped over hard drill beats have set him apart as one to watch in the UK drill scene.
“I want people to have fun when they hear my music, just enjoy the sound and not take life too seriously. ’20 Style II’ is a party drill track that people can have fun with.” – DYEGO
I think we can all agree that young music with an old soul vibe is the best you can get in today’s music world, and none fills the criteria more than young Alabama native, Dricka.
And when we say young, we mean it, since this gifted rapper and songwriter is only 23 years old, and yet comes across as if she’s lived at least seven decades. That is not to say that her music is in any way old or outdated. On the contrary, she’s got one of the most modern sounds we’ve heard in recent years.
And yet, her latest release, entitled simply “Mama”, will win you over through its old school kind of vibe, and the sheer wisdom inherent in the lyrics.
‘Dricka’ drops a dope Rap letter to her ‘Mama’ with a classic soul meets Hip-Hop vibe as the fresh artist proves her talent on new single – Discover Rap
Dricka is obviously a girl whose mind is as sharp as can be. She’s observant and demonstrates a real skill for paying attention to detail, the sort of skill that is characteristic of true artists.
Her lyrics paint a somewhat grim, yet at the same time hopeful view of life and difficulty, of finding strength and growing up in a world that seems to pay less and less attention to you with each day.
Then, of course, we have her fantastic voice. It has a soulful sort of edge to it, wonderful, and appealing.
Dricka encompasses both a great tenderness and fragility in her singing, but also a sense of resilience. It’s the perfect voice for the song, if that makes sense, as it highlights and expresses the duality of her feelings in writing this. Feeling both strong, as any person who’s growing up and standing on their own has to be sooner or later, but also expressing an almost childish vulnerability.
It’s a very coming of age song, except it has none of the cutesiness we tend to attach to those words. It’s a gritty tune with killer vibes that will really make you think, and we highly suggest you go listen to it if you haven’t yet.
A winning combination of R&B, hip-hop, reggaeton and pop, dialled in the right way.
In this day and age, there is just so much music to listen to, and at times, it’s hard to miss out on the really good stuff, particularly when your mailbox is quite literally bombarded with hundreds of emails a day, with many artists and bands who are eager to show off their new tracks, albums, EPs and other projects.
Every once in a while, something truly special comes up, and it certainly appears to be the case with this particular release.
