Artist Jahbrae has embraced the anger and despair he felt witnessing violence targeting People of Color, in his EP ‘The Black Lives Matter Collection’
With a Cape Verdean Heritage and a SoCal Uncensored upbringing, musical artist Jahbrae never genuinely fit in. That lack of tribal identity mirrors a musical sound that draws on making genre-bending music that uniquely stands out.
When creating music or writing lyrics, each verse’s highest intention is to help others feel that they are not alone. Carrying this same versatile approach into a mixture of soulful deliveries coupled with a poetic cadence Jahbrae, 25, challenges every genre to innovate or get left behind. Writing has always been a way Jahbrae expressed himself, but it wasn’t until he stopped hiding his raw emotions on every song that the industry took a closer look at this rising artist.
Mel Maryns is no stranger to making amazing music, and her most recent track Ghost in Town, is a great example of her astonishing artistic evolution.
The song has a very spontaneous and organic flow, which highlights the artist’s ability to make music that is personal and intimate, but also hard-hitting and powerful. This is especially exemplified with them contrast between Mel’s mellow vocals, and the biting guitar palm muted parts in the verses! Conceptually, we can all relate to idea of feeling like a ghost. How many times have you felt invisible? Like you’re standing right there, but it’s like nobody else seems to care? Mel is not afraid to share her deepest feelings with the audience, and this is what makes her music so special and outstanding.
Fans of artists such as Linkin Park, Dead Rituals, Blink-182, and Paramore are most definitely going to be pleased when listening to Ghost in Town, or any other release from the talented and productive Mel Maryns. This is a song that obviously a deep personal meaning for Mel, and it’s really incredible when artists are able to turn a fast, upbeat rock song into something that’s also incredibly mellow and personal at the same time. This dualism is key to Mel’s sound, and there is something quite special about how this release comes together so beautifully.
This has been a really difficult time for most musicians all around the world. However, many people are actually enabled to make amazing music whenever they want, without the need of going to a studio or spend thousands of dollars to achieve professional results. Because of this, Mel really managed to leave a mark on the audience with some fantastic vibes. The spontaneity of her music is really eloquent in its own right! In simpler terms: this song is on fire! Find out more about Mel Maryns, and listen to Ghost in Town, which is currently available on the web.
Fresh off her move from Dubai to Los Angeles, R&B singer ekay releases her latest track titled “Nice”. “Nice” is an ode; a celebration of calling on what you need. At a time when there’s so much we can’t control, ekay sings about one thing that is malleable: the energy and light that we keep around us. “You gotta be nice to be around” ekay says, “and if you contradict [that], then there’s not much for you around here”.
With her melodic flows and almost conversational approach to the verses, ekay sets the record straight on what can (or won’t) be entertained on this soulful-meets-modern Lo-fi beat produced by Versus.
The unconventional artist, ekay (lowercase “e”) is a multitude of creative professions and dubs herself as a neo soul rap head. ekay’s bodies of work translate into intricate conceptual projects showcasing soulful sounds, strong lyricism and visual narratives.

Megan L. Divine is a singer-songwriter based in New Mexico.
The song ‘Heart On Her Sleeve’ is about a woman being vulnerable and always being unconditional. It refers to a popular phrase meaning she is always giving all her love and always running back to her partner because no matter what they go through she loves him too much to ever leave him. The phrase “she wears her heart on her sleeve” is referred to in the song as saying she’s always vulnerable in her relationships.
It concludes her putting herself out there because she has a big heart and because she learned in life to never give up on people.. she’ll never give up on the people she loves even if they’re breaking her heart.. she still loves with her whole heart even when it feels broken and sometimes she wants the same love she gives in return..
“If you really love someone you give it everything you have and love with your whole heart genuinely and sometimes you don’t care if you get the same in return because you love them so much and it doesn’t seem like a big deal.. “ says Megan

DJ and Producer Eduke has already made a name for himself as one of the top 30 Tech House artist in 2020 and 2021 according to Beatstats.com. Eduke did not start making dance music until 2013, even though he has been producing and writing for over 20 years. Prior to 2013 he made commercial pop music and wrote acoustic ballads which many in the underground dance scene shy away from. It was not until he lost his mother from a battle with Cancer that Eduke decided to pivot into House music, Tech house and Techno with a little stint in Edm.
When asked what was it about the loss of his mother that inspired him to start making House music, he said “After I lost my mother to Cancer, I didn’t want to make or listen to sad music any more. Dance music to me was the perfect alternative. In fact, I started producing dance tracks on my lap-top as a way to deal with the pain of watching a loved one wither and die. Producing uplifting, high energy tracks was my distraction. It took me to a place away from the gloom and hopelessness”.
The name Eduke is an African name borrowed from his mother after her passing on May 14th 2014. The artist decided to use the name as a way to pay respect to someone whom he says “sacrificed her entire life for her Faith and her children”.
Eduke says his need to spin music was the result of fate and survival. The music literally saved him in one of his darkest hours. In 2015 Eduke joined UK’s Concrete promo LTD as the exclusive promo company for his releases following the example of House music icons like David Penn and a slew of others. Via concrete promo the artist has released ground breaking records making waves across the globe and garnering the support of icons like Claptone, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, Roger Sanchez, Richie Hawtin, Don Diablo, Dash Berlin just to name a few. His “The Wished EP” reached #2 on the Music Week dance chart and #9 on the commercial charts. More than 4 years after, “The Wished EP” (March 2021) charted on Apple music at #13 of House Albums albums in China following some features from the EP on the Chinese fantasy comedy Wished (2017) by Award winning movie director Dayyan Eng. His releases have been regulars on the Beatport, Apple Music and Traxsource top 100 charts. In 2020 Eduke released some of the best selling tracks on Beatport. His track “One House” was ranked among the top 10 Best Selling tracks of 2020.
Still in the first quarter of 2021, Eduke just released the island inspired Tech House banger “Lucea” on the Juicy music label run by Robbie Rivera. One week in, Lucea has charted on the Best of Tech House, Mixtank, the weekly digs, Beatport Weekend Picks and Peak Hour tracks of 2021.
It is an incredible time for Eduke as DJs and Fans are really loving his sound across the globe, from Ibiza to London, Berlin to Sydney, Amsterdam to Miami, Paris to Johannesburg there’s so much love growing for his music. Based on all the indications, we say Eduke is one of the artists to keep an eye on this 2021. A well crafted sound, pure energy and excitement is what we hear from this artist. Kai Nanfelt’s song, “Sober,” tackles difficult topics such as mental health, substance abuse and suicide.
Just three months after its December release, the track has already garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify.
“This song [Sober] is written for my childhood best friend,” Nanfelt explained in an interview. “I wrote it one day while I was studying abroad in London, after he tried to commit suicide; it wasn’t the first time he had tried to do this. The first time was when we were in 8th grade, and we’ve been as thick as thieves ever since.”
“This time was especially hard for my friend because it was the first time we had been apart from one another. I was normally there for him in his worst moments, but it was much harder to do from a distance. He always struggled with substance abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts and anxiety. That day, he tried to overdose on pills and booze, but called me in the middle of the night (London-time). He told me what he did, and I immediately called his parents before they got him hospitalized. It was around 3 am for me, and I had work the next morning at a music label. I couldn’t sleep, though, so I decided to write ‘Sober’ instead.”
Nanfelt continued, “My emotions came pouring out, and as I cried over my guitar, I realized I had stayed up until 6 am – and finished my first draft of the song. I sent it to my friend, got ready for work, and waited for him to wake up and hear it. We had a good cry, and he vowed that he would never try to hurt himself again. Since then, he’s done much better, and brags that I ‘released a song about him.’ I am so proud of him for the progress he’s made, and this release was a testament to that growth.”
The Boston University graduate only recently found the time to prioritize his music career following the loss of his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kai Nanfelt will be releasing a new single on March 19th, and has plans to release many more songs before the year ends. Keep an eye out for these tracks if you’re looking for music that isn’t afraid to cross boundaries. The 23-year-old cites John Mayer and Ed Sheeran as his main influences.

With roots in both Texas and Chicago, Morris Mills naturally grew into life as a musician. He instinctively gravitated towards the complexities of Chicago’s famous music scene, while using it as a survival tactic in face of family and societal struggles and as a means to thrive into his own as an artist. Compelled by his artistry, he took the next step in his career by moving to L.A. His journey is evident in “Revival”, the multi-talented musician’s most self-actualized work to date. Howard Dukes from SoulTracks likened Mills’ sound to that of the late, great Prince Rogers Nelson, while highlighting his personal range.
Dukes also went on to say: “If those inspired by him are to be judged, it will be on the basis of their musicianship, artistry and their willingness to blast through whatever boundaries and limits placed before them. On that score, Mills is a worthy protégé.” Also noteworthy is the album’s thematic range from love, protest and God. With its masterful production, matching that of Mill’s Soul Patrol award-winning studio release “Beautified” (2011), combined with the artist’s undeniable growth, “Je ne sais qoui” is sure to generate nomination buzz following its fast-approaching debut.

Joel Benoiton aka The EL Clan is a 20 year old rapper/songwriter from Peterborough England.
“I would say the most unique part about my music is the lyrics, it’s the best way for me to express my emotions and opinions on different subject matters.” says the rapper
His latest single ‘Stages Of Grief’ focuses on how hard it is to lose a loved one. Each verse takes place at a different point in time. The first verse takes place quite soon after the loved one has passed and the emotions are still very raw. The second verse talks about how over time it will feel better and that one just has to keep moving forward. The third verse takes place years later and it shows that just because a person has been gone for so long doesn’t mean that they fade away from your memory.
“This song means a lot to me and it’s about something that everyone will experience at some point.” he adds.

After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerged with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformations to reach this point as a hip hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.
There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects. The first project could’ve been the last. The reasons for making another project is AO does not give up so easily. Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.
From the beginning AO went by stage name King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters. The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label.
The Agency Operative went through another name change. AO decided to go with the name: A.O. C.entral C.ommand. The reason for another name change was that fans have the option to shorten the name A.O. C.C. or can say the entire name. “Another reason for the name change is the name would clarify that I am my own boss. The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot.””
A.O. CC returned on a mission with a new album – the name of the album was Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. The album was released on I-tunes and Google Play in 2015.
The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. Already putting in over 10 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third instalment to his discography with Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With – released in 2017.
A.O. C.entral C.ommand is stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight with his highly anticipated ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox.’ An album two years in the making, ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox’ has been a lengthy labor of love. Released at the end of 2019, this album is jam-packed with 15 tracks that represent this talented emcee to the fullest. Songs like “Damsels in Distress,” “Destination Destiny” and his current single “I Apologize” each bring a new story to life and keep the album flowing from start to finish. Especially, “I Apologize” which is his most recent, eye-catching video, out now.
Having known a lot of good and bad in his own life, A.O. C.entral C.ommand put shadows at the core of this album. He noted, “It represents the darkness in the light; when there is light in the darkness you see shadows,” adding, “Shadows represent standing up to our fears in moments of crisis.” A.O. C.entral C.ommand has been making music for nearly a decade.
He has recently released his latest ‘Do You Mind?’ from his latest body of work ‘Episode 5: Agency Agenda Phase One’.

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
“All songs that I write are made intentionally to be lyrically suitable for all ages, with the aim to uplift and flood joy to the listener while letting the body have a bop and groove.” Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?
“If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on. This song is about everyone, everywhere, all ages, faiths, colours having a good time together, moving, singing or whatever makes their hearts warm.”
Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?
“As above, list whatever might be of relevance. This song was always written for it to be sung by will smith. The moment the chorus came in my head I rushed home to write it down with his voice I my head. I recored the song mimicking my impression of his voice and how I felt he would sing it.” Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release. Obviously the more eye-catching this is the better.
“I have always had this joy in making people smile and my songs are that urge in music.”
What do celebrities like the Kardashian’s, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Janet Jackson, Steven Spielberg, Kevin Hart, Leonardo Dicaprio, Paris Hilton, Daymond John, Mark Cuban, and the list goes on, have in common?
They were all chauffeured by Ronny E.
Now Ronny E has broken into the rap world and has just released a new single called ‘Winner Winner’
Because Ronny E was behind the scenes, he got an in-depth look at what it took to take a dream and turn it into reality. Ronny would rap to his clients, and Daymond John from Sharktank was the first celebrity to share Ronny E’s music. Daymond liked the rap so much that he forced Mark Cuban to sit in the front and be rapped to.
“I can’t lie, that song by my driver, Ronny, is still in my head. I’m a winner, I’m a winner, I’m a winner… he’s so crazy…I love him.” says Daymond John Ronny wrote, Winner Winner to let everyone know that success is not a straight line, that you have to take action, if you fail, just do it again, and adjust your action, until you win.
Blind Season’s upcoming album is an ode to loneliness and toxicity that feel as if they were ripped from Billy Corgan’s Diary and featured in a film by Tim Burton. With the current questionable climate of the world there’s no question that this album will find its proper home and become a sign of the times.
Their next single release is called ‘How They See You’. Says founding member of the band, Shane Sigro of the song: “This song turned out a lot different than how I originally planned it to be. It’s a very funny and sarcastic take on a serious situation that I shouldn’t have been in with someone. I had to find a way to make it light hearted and this seemed like the best way. Looking back now I just laugh.”
After a divorce, a life threatening trip to the hospital and a series of other setbacks, ThroneMuzik knew he had to keep going.
“I had even ended up with COVID. During my time of quarantine and healing, I recorded this song.” says ThroneMuzik
ThroneMuzik is an artist, engineer and producer. He has been involved with music since the age of 5. At age 10 he visited his first recording studio. At age 15, he built his own. At age 16, he became a born again believer in Christ and began to create music about his faith. At age 23, he opened his official recording studio ThroneMuzik Studios. He got married at age 26. Unfortunately the marriage ended in a divorce. Right when he was going to quit music, a man by the name of William Hodge met him for the first time and said to him “don’t quit the music man”. After hearing those words, ThroneMuzik began to finish what he started.
He has released a new single ‘Live Again’ and will be dropping a full album called ‘New Beginnings’ soon.
Marietta Grant is one of the fresh faces in the music industry, at least from a singing perspective. But Marietta is far from a newcomer. In fact, she started writing songs in 2010, and her passion for music was there even well before that. She is an artist focused on success, and on the idea that you always have a variety of amazing things you can do, all you need is to commit to those ideas and never give up.
Marietta has always been a contemporary singer whose focus is to make people reflect on their life, the challenges they encounter, but also the insecurities they have. Living in the modern day is very tricky, it requires a lot of self-control and confidence. Many of us don’t have that, and in the end that’s the thing that can lead to a variety of problems. That’s why Marietta wants to create music that helps us reflect on how to improve our lives. She also talks about other important things like gratitude and fully committing to success.
With her new single named That’s Why, Marietta is trying to show us how important it is to be grateful for the things you have in life. Yes, we always want to have more, but we ignore or under appreciate what really matters in our own lives. If you really want to reach success, then it’s important to know the essential stuff. Making sure that you appreciate your loved ones and having someone to fall back to at the end of the day is the truly important thing in life.
At the same time, the song is all about confidence, self-love and constantly taking care of yourself. Mental health and wellbeing are crucial, and they are addressed in this song as well. Marietta’s main focus is to help people open their eyes on the true issues that they are facing at this time. The commitment is to growth and success, and the experience can be second to none in the long run. With that being said, Marietta seamlessly combines R&B, pop and soul music to offer us a new perspective over life. And the best thing is that the tunes themselves help with that. The instrumental side of the track is very engaging, and it empowers you quite a bit.
Overall, this is an empowering song that shows how we should behave in life and what really matters. Sometimes we tend to add a lot of weight on things that aren’t important at all. That’s the reason why we must learn from mistakes and truly value what really matters. Once we start doing that, nothing can stand in our way. That’s what makes this song so engaging and rewarding, and we found it to be one of the coolest things about Marietta’s new release. She plans to release even more soul-nurturing and feel-good music, so we encourage you to keep an eye for her upcoming releases.
The new single “Around The Bend” is a song of encouragement that no matter what detours or curveballs that you may encounter through the dark times in life’s journey, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
The name Noble Barz has a two-fold meaning; the word ‘Noble’ involves character or distinction that identifies the voice of content within the delivery by which this artist desire to purposefully convey the message of hope and to inform with a relevant yet spiritual foundation. The word ‘Barz’- refers to the musical and artistic aspect connected to the delivery. Meg Pfeiffer is a multi award winning singer/songwriter from Germany, who has achieved international success using voice, loop station, drum pads and multi instrumentalism allowing her to rock the stage more than an entire band. Her unique vocal timbre, together with her exceptional songwriting skills, creates a magical atmosphere that reaches the soul from the first note.
In 2017 she participated with an original song “Love Is What We Need” as a finalist at the preselection for the Eurovision song contest, (the most prestigious song competition in all of Europe). Through talent, dedication and hard work she and her music have been heard on a global scale as she embarked on an intense touring schedule that had her playing in more than 15 countries, from USA to Russia, from Canada to China.
On Valentine’s Day, 2020 she released her fourth studio album NOPE. All songs and lyrics were written by her. The theme of Meg Pfeiffer’s album is right there in the title. These 23 songs are odes to the things she declines or she can’t deal with very well, such as the death of her father. She writes about a life that has strengthened her by death, rejection and unequal treatment. Saying “Nope” to the things that don’t do any good and at the end of the dark tunnel saying “Yes” to the things that are right. A very clear message told in 23 tracks on Nope. By taking on the additional role of the producer, Meg feels she has done it right and in her way. Next year Meg Pfeiffer and Luca Stricagnoli (husband) will be touring through Germany, the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada.”
Meg’s latest release, the single “Push Baby” follows this success. The single doesn’t just deliver with its cool modernity blended with the nostalgic sound of the eighties, it also breaks the barrier when it comes to a compelling, important subject – Equal Rights for Women.
The bass-heavy, playful beat merges wonderfully with her beguiling clear and unmistakable vocal timbre. “Push Baby” is “epic” pop in a super relaxed robe. Not just written and performed herself, but she also handled the production to make sure the song met her vision perfectly.
And because she wants to get her message to the point as clearly as possible, she has asked several strong women, who she has met in the music business, to join her in her music video for the song. The video has been released to coincide with International Women’s Day – March 8th.
She took over the video production and editing once again, complete with crazy high energy outfits, delivering a fiery, rough expression, which she combines with a sunny play of enchanting colors.
Meg celebrates her independence and her unstoppable energy and discipline, challenging in a positive way every woman who feels oppressed to do exactly the same thing: to push forward and be successful. And in doing so, breaking down all the limits and restrictions that she has experienced as a woman and uniting forces instead of dividing them. Check it out. And women, don’t forget to “Push Baby”.

Kietell is a 23 year old rapper and producer from Mississauga, Ontario.
His love for music started even before he was born: “According to my parents, my dad would put headphones on my mom’s stomach and I would kick to the beat of whatever my dad was playing at the time, which is why they gave me the nickname ‘Knox’.” says the rapper.
This is why it only made sense for this young rapper to pursue what he truly loves and can’t live without – music.
He has just released a new song called ‘Pressure’. “My song Pressure was written while I was at work. The workplace didn’t have a lot of work for me to do so I found a spot where I could just zone out and write. It took me about 45 minutes to complete. Then that same day, I went home and made the beat for it. I knew I wanted something aggressive and hard hitting so I had to include those ‘War Cry’ type trumpets, strings, and electric guitars to make an aggressive beat.”
SotgMando is a young and upcoming Bay Area rapper. He first started making music at the age of 14 years old using a phone and free beats. Then as time went by he upgraded to a home studio.
He came up with his rap name one day by writing some lyrics and piecing them together. “Stay on that grind mandatory” is not only a name but a lifestyle that he will live and die by. He has just released a new single called ‘In My Bag’ which is a song all about making money; chasing a bag and not a female.
Snowballed by an unprecedented global crisis, suddenly R&B-rapper-songwriter Bosco Babyy (a.k.a. Myles Austin), was forced to alter his artistic direction as the world hovered on the brink of change.
Breaking into the industry at full speed, Bosco is expressing his artistic vision throughout all the chaos with his debut EP ‘Apocalypse’ highlighting 3 different sides of his artistic genius in songs- Omerta, HennyMan and finally the lead single ZAZA.
It was during his senior year at High School that Bosco Babyy let some of his friends get a taste of a song he dropped on Soundcloud. “They trashed it. I got clowned and it hurt my pride… but I kept dropping and eventually gained the respect of everyone who doubted me. The hate just poured fuel on the fire and inspired me to try harder each time.”
Bosco’s EP Apocalypse is his sneak preview of what’s to come in ‘Days We Forget’. Showing his rager side with HennyMan, his emotional sound and unique r&b flow with Omerta and his lead single for this EP, Zaza – the anthem for those who dare to dream while their real world responsibilities and expectations may serve as major obstacles.
In Bosco Babyy’s words: “Zaza is a song based on escaping your problems and imagining better. We work hard every day hoping to be free in the future. The path to being free is stressful all we can do is look at temporary escapes to ease the journey.”

The Kith is an up-and-coming DJ duo consisting of two brothers born and raised in the Netherlands.
The duo is unique as the youngest brother is only 16 years old. Together they are at the start of their music career. Besides Slap House / Brazilian Bass they also make some heavier Bass House tracks.
The release of ‘Tell Me Why’ was their first real success, with a warm atmosphere and the deep bass known from Slap House. The track has been streamed over 30k times in a few months. Other tracks that followed up after this success within Slap House were ‘Closer’ on Kiwistage records and ‘Coming Back Around’ on Tritone records. Recently, in addition to the original mix, a remix was released by AUGUSTE of the track ‘Closer’.
‘Coming Back Around’ featuring Josh Vorster has a catchy vocal, supported by a deep bass. The high notes during the pre drop provide a broadening feeling, allowing the typical Slap House drop to hit deep. The melodic drop with powerful bass is the characteristic style of the song.
“In life, the most beautiful things can grow from soil covered in ash. No matter how tragic the beginning of the story is, as long as the character seeks their own path they can build a happy ending.” – This is the life motto for Liberian born Afro-pop/R&B artist Emmanuel Quiah.
Now based in Arizona, USA, Quiah was born during the Civil War era in Liberia. He lost his father during the war and came to the United States as a refugee with his mother and three siblings. Music became his refuge and helped him deal with the hardships e and his family endured. “I would turn to music and play songs for hours and hours for every emotion I felt” says Quiah.
In high school, he began playing the guitar and started writing his own lyrics and songs; constructing soothing lyrics around amazing guitar chords inspired by musicians like Eric Clapton and Tommy Emmanuel.
He has now released his own music which has a pop sensibility while clinging on to the afro beat sounds of his roots and the blues he studied in high school.
His latest released is called ‘All In’: “An Afro pop/R&B love song dedicate to all the lovers out there.”
Quiah wants to spread the message of love with the intention of creating the most touching songs that the world has ever heard.
