What’s your life story as an artist? How did you get into music?

“I was born and raised in a small & humble town in eastern Cuba and moved to Switzerland before finishing my primary school. We always lived very humbly but I was able to take music classes and learned to play guitar from a young age.”

“When we moved to Mexico after primary school, I ditch the guitar and started writing songs at the age of 13. I would rap with my neighbor who was a cuban rapper as well and he would throw rap battles at his place.”

“We lived in a very crazy neighborhood at the time in Mexico City and as “the man of the house” I would do anything to help financially.”

“I started making money in the streets in every way possible to help out at home since it was only my mom, my sister and I.”

“I wrote songs as a diary to express my day-to-day reality.”

“During high school I went through lots of troubles and after losing some important
people in my life & having some family issues, I decided to leave Mexico after a few years for good.”

“I had been staying at my Dad’s in Miami, Florida periodically while living in Mexico.
But at that time it wasn’t an option to move to the States permanently.”

“Moved to London at the age of 22 where I did my personal-training school.”

“I spent quite some time back & forwards between Switzerland & the UK
cause I had to finish up my Instructing-Sargent-Time in Switzerland.”

“Once I was done with that I moved to the States permanently, but
Due to Trump’s politics, I got deported and sent back to Switzerland.”

“I went to the UK to stay at a friend’s house for a short period of time because
I couldn’t find a job in Switzerland at that time since I had not planned to go back there.”

“At that point in time, I decided to tell my story through my songs.”

“That’s when I found Hot Money Studios where I started recording right away.”

“Ever since I travel between the UK & Switzerland all the time.”

What motivates you to make music?
“Music is therapy to me.
Music has been very prominent in my family since my Dad used to be a
popular songwriter, singer & guitarist in the 80s & 90s in Cuba & my Mom loves writing poetry.”

“I grew up listening to Hip-Hop, RnB, Soul & Afro-Cuban Music mostly but also Reggaeton.
My playlists are full of artists like Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, DJ Loaf, Bryson Tiller, NAV, Lil Durk, Young Thug, Drake, DMX (R.I.P.) but I also like Deep House Instrumentals.”

Worked with any big names?

“I haven’t worked with any big names yet.”

Where have you performed?

“I haven’t performed anywhere yet as I believe more in the online side of music consumption.”

Any upcoming projects?

“I’m currently working on my next song which will be more like a meditation-type thing.”

Cohorts has rearranged, remixed, and remastered their previously released album “The West Coast Offense.”

From the “The West Coast Offense” album re-release, Independent Artists “Independent rap duo ‘Cohorts’ overcomes Coronavirus lockdown by re-releasing an album”.

Cohorts has rearranged, remixed, and remastered their previously released album “The West Coast Offense.” The idea for this was sparked after an unfortunate hard drive crash, which resulted in this version having less songs than the original. A crashed hard drive, and a pandemic lockdown doesn’t have to be all bad, evidenced by this artistic endeavor. Cohorts’ musical projects are all geared towards the grown and sexy crowd, and are all produced by Kartuush. Parental Advisory label is required. RawNaked Entertainment is the label that releases these offerings. “The West Coast Offense” was originally released back in 2011. The re-release version will be available soon. However The first single titled, “You Can’t Beat L.A.” is currently available for streaming and downloads here: cohorts.hearnow.com

Cohorts’ was founded in 2009. Long time friends, and musical cohorts; group members C Money and General are from the Compton, and south Los Angeles areas respectively. The pair of MCs had recorded together for about 2 decades before forming the rap duo [Cohorts]. “Classic west coast production accented by true Hip Hop artists who aren’t afraid to have fun over a beat.”– Makin’ It Magazine

Spliffy Mars is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2019 and released his debut full length LP entitled “Hey,Mars?” earlier this year

Spliffy Mars is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2019. Growing up around areas of Hartford and spending time in the suburbs before moving to East Atlanta at 14, he claims he’d been to so many schools with so many different people and backgrounds, that this diversity influenced the variety in his taste in music and style.

Growing up listening to artists like Chief Keef, Nirvana, Kanye West, Jay Electronica, Future and Tyler The Creator are just a handful of his inspirations. His unorthodox catchy melodic type style is often compared to artists like Playboi Carti, Young Thug, or Chief Keef, but Mars has his own unique style and voice. As he raps and sings over hard hitting 808s and energetic ethereal melodies his music basically just makes you want to sit and listen so you can relate or get up and have a fun time. He touches on the topic of his lifestyle a lot, as he recalls that he only makes music about what he has been through. “I don’t have time to sit down and write a song, that gives me time to cap”. “I’d rather take my time and make a song off the top and it be about real tragedies or real pain, or even the fun stuff I enjoy doing” – says Mars

Having always had a natural talent for songwriting, it wasn’t until late 2018 that Spliffy Mars decided to release his music into the world via SoundCloud. After a number of his tracks gained traction and he began building momentum with his fanbase, Spliffy Mars dropped his first project entitled “Strictly 4 My Rounds” which was released on all platforms on July 27th, 2019, where he showcased his new style and experimented early with the hyper pop or pop trap sound.
Since releasing this project Mars started building his fan base more by traveling the north east and doing a considerable amount of shows.

Spliffy Mars combines a variety of compositional and aesthetically pleasing elements to form his unique sound and style which differentiates himself from the basic crowd of hip hop music with sub genres such as hyper pop or spacious music.

Spliffy Mars dropped a 12 track length LP formatted album entitled “Hey,Mars?” executive produced by TySouf On March 19th of this year.

This LP marks the first full embodiment of the artist as it has not a single feature and only features the unique and bright mesmerizing vocal style of the artist as well as the high quality and thorough production of tysouf.

This new LP follows and continues the journey that Mars is embarking on, dabbling in the underground scene trying to break into the mainstream.

Mars talks about many topics from his lifestyle choices his upbringing and serious topics that he goes through in life while making it sound like a party song at the same time with songs like BraVo! or Lemonade. The whole album itself sets itself aside from many and is truly a pure album for those who just want to live life at the fullest potential with no regrets. Mars also claimed the album isn’t a story telling album it’s a project for you to just tap into his side of things as far as his emotions and different moods.

All the songs are very specific to the style Mars has been embodying recently. You can very much describe his music as very fantasy like and bouncy having melodies similar to pop music or having heavy inspiration from pop elements and the genre itself. At the same time when he is not using his fast paced and hyper flows, Mars can dumb down his vocal state to a real calm and low vibrational tone that will seemingly set the mood for any type of activity that involves relaxation or being under the influence.

Being versatile between these two styles he calls “Pop Trap and Spacious Music” it makes the music more exciting and more pulling to the listener. It’s not like u have an album full of the same song over and over again. A prime example on this project is like listening to the third track “Her Dance” produced by platinum producer Pierre Bourne, being an upbeat song with a faster tempo and having a happier melody then going into the fourth track with the song opening with a slower paced tempo and a melody sounding like it came straight out of a 1990s arcade game. Going towards the end of the project the songs go into a real chill state and ends with “Friends Till The End” which is a classic.

You can download the album from Spliffy Mars’ website: https://spliffymars.onuniverse.com/

Artist JM came out of his reinvention musically reborn, focusing intently on the visual aspect of his music, and the mystery

“I prefer to be formless, like water,” JM says. “I once heard a quote from Bruce Lee that said ‘If you put water in a vase, it becomes the vase,’ so put me in any music genre, and I become the genre, like water.”

Much like his genre-melding yet fluid ‘formless’ musical creations, Jesus Muhammed as an artist is a bit of an enigma. Music – for JM – comes to his mind in mental waves and flashes of colors, shapes and patterns.

Whether he has a mild form of the fascinatingly weird disorder known as synesthesia or it’s just the way his musical brain works – whatever the source of his genius, it’s a mesmerizing mix of electronica, hip hop rhythms, other-worldly vocals and street-style rhyming that he creates.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Saint Albans, Queens, JM took music lessons from a former James Brown guitarist, and was surrounded by 1950s pop and 70s reggae played by his music-loving parents. They bought JM and his brother a full set-up of instruments as they were growing up, but while his mother hoped he’d learn to play classic pop songs, JM instead wanted to bring to life the music he heard in his head.

“When I first started making music, I was excited and anxious – I wanted to create more than I wanted to chase tale,”
he says. “Creating music keeps me alive.”

A self-described loner and artsy brooding character as a teen, JM’s life revolved around his Walkman and a ton of CDs in his book bag. He wrote lyrics as a child, but it was a friend in High School that spurred him on to compete in rap battles – he would battle rappers and spoken-word artists from other neighborhoods, then go home and write more scathing rhymes to be ready for the next day’s battle. His musical passion turned serious as he started a group called tha Villianz Gang. They played some shows and had a great time, but massive egos and internal strife tore the group apart. JM’s rap-battle talent and reputation quickly exceeded his competition, so he decided to ratchet his music career up another level with a music manager. He’d go on to perform in small New York City venues, paying his music dues (as they call it) and learning the ropes of the music business and performing.

JM used this time to begin reinventing himself as an artist and knew that he was going to start making his own rules for his music and career. JM came out of his reinvention musically reborn, focusing intently on the visual aspect of his music, and the mystery.

“This is music I can see,” he says. “The art is a response to my existence.”

Musician Echolily has released a new single called ‘Under the Clocks (Stay)’ which enhances one’s love for life and the miracle of music

Echolily is one of those rare artists who come into your life without announcement. And never leaves. That’s what happened to us, and frankly, we love her all the more for it. This young, immensely talented woman, rocked our worlds with her brand new release, entitled rather appropriately “Under the Clocks (Stay)”. And the tune resonated with something so deeply embedded and thoroughly honest inside us that since then, we just can’t stop listening to this amazing track. It’s literally on repeat, and what we particularly love about it is that it never gets old.

You know how, with some songs, you listen to them one, two, ten times, but then after that, you’re kinda sick of them? That doesn’t happen with “Under the Clocks (Stay)”. Maybe it’s because of the echo chamber effect (since it was literally recorded in an echo chamber, true to the artist’s name). Maybe it’s Echolily’s hushed, sensual voice slithering into your earbuds and refusing to let go. Or maybe it’s the fact that with every new listen, you find another thing to hold on to. Another sound or fragment, or word that you just seem to understand a little bit better.

Echolily definitely isn’t one of those artists who scores one hit wonders, because her lyrics are just too complex for anything as mundane as that. Here is an artist who knows how to pull on your strings in just the right way to get into your head and never let go. She is a skilled lyricist, and an accomplished musician, and together, these two skills combine to create a powerfully unique track.

“Under the Clocks (Stay)” is a love song, but you don’t need to be in love to enjoy it. Or rather, you need to be in love with life, and with the miracle that is music, to appreciate the masterpiece this song is.

Hip Hop artist The Agency Operative is on another mission with his latest single release ‘Do You Mind?’

After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerged with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformations to reach this point as a hip hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.

There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects. The first project could’ve been the last. The reasons for making another project is AO does not give up so easily. Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.

From the beginning AO went by stage name King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters. The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label.

The Agency Operative went through another name change. AO decided to go with the name: A.O. C.entral C.ommand. The reason for another name change was that fans have the option to shorten the name A.O. C.C. or can say the entire name.
“Another reason for the name change is the name would clarify that I am my own boss. The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot
.””

A.O. CC returned on a mission with a new album – the name of the album was Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. The album was released on I-tunes and Google Play in 2015.

The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. Already putting in over 10 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third instalment to his discography with Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With – released in 2017.

A.O. C.entral C.ommand is stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight with his highly anticipated ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox.’
An album two years in the making, ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox’ has been a lengthy labor of love. Released at the end of 2019, this album is jam-packed with 15 tracks that represent this talented emcee to the fullest. Songs like “Damsels in Distress,” “Destination Destiny” and his current single “I Apologize” each bring a new story to life and keep the album flowing from start to finish. Especially, “I Apologize” which is his most recent, eye-catching video, out now.

Having known a lot of good and bad in his own life, A.O. C.entral C.ommand put shadows at the core of this album.
He noted, “It represents the darkness in the light; when there is light in the darkness you see shadows,” adding, “Shadows represent standing up to our fears in moments of crisis.”
A.O. C.entral C.ommand has been making music for nearly a decade.

He has recently released his latest  ‘Do You Mind?’ from his latest body of work ‘Episode 5: Agency Agenda Phase One’.

Blind Season release their next turbulent single ‘How They See You’ which talks about making light of an awkward situation

Blind Season’s upcoming album is an ode to loneliness and toxicity that feel as if they were ripped from Billy Corgan’s Diary and featured in a film by Tim Burton. With the current questionable climate of the world there’s no question that this album will find its proper home and become a sign of the times.

Their next single release is called ‘How They See You’.
Says founding member of the band, Shane Sigro of the song:
This song turned out a lot different than how I originally planned it to be. It’s a very funny and sarcastic take on a serious situation that I shouldn’t have been in with someone. I had to find a way to make it light hearted and this seemed like the best way. Looking back now I just laugh.

Self-taught musician, VDXi has released his latest single called ‘Vulnerable Rebellion’ which takes you on an amazing audio journey

VDXi has released the latest single called ‘Vulnerable Rebellion’.

The song starts off with a beautiful female voice and synthesiser that sounds like they could take you on an amazing journey.
The guitars kick in at around 45 seconds and as soon as they do, this song starts to rock. What follows is basically a 4-minute guitar solo with plenty of pinched harmonics and just the right amount of ‘shredding’. Towards the end the lovely vocals start again, this time accompanied by the rhythm guitar and the drums. The guitars and drums are definitely giving it a nice rock twist.

VDXi is a completely self-taught musician, using computer programming tricks and virtual instruments to communicate his stories through music.
The artist has a wide range of musical styles and instrument emulations built into the music and this might not become obvious after you listen to just one song/composition, but it will become more apparent when you listen to more of them.

Independent record label Jet City Records makes major debut with ‘City of the Jets’ album

Canada continues to change the game, first Drake, now with independent label Jet City Records’ debut album ‘City of the Jets.’

Music has long been praised by artists for saving them from the path they once walked and giving them an outlet through the tough moments in life. Independent record label Jet City Records, also known as Jet City is using their love of hip hop to touch the world. With the dark place the world is in due to the Covid pandemic, many have suffered, and many more are suffering. Jet City has chosen this time to debut their first
album amid the crisis as a means to not only survive the lockdown but help the world navigate through it with their sound.

Jet city records is an indigenous/ Black-owned label from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that began its journey in 2019. It’s artists and founder all share the same vision and purpose, to use music to better the world and reach those who need it most.

The label comprises of artists Loco 2k, Nucky Jmc, Big Ox, Rup Monsta and founder and ex-drug dealer Nigel Pahl, now known as Mic North. North is a testament to the power music has to spark change and find a way out of crime and poverty.
Since his release from jail in 2011, music has continued to be his
gateway from his past and the catalyst to a brighter positive future.
With his life turning a new leaf, he has not only founded Jet City, but is an advocate for the youth with his youth-based workshop series ‘Maps Workshops.’

To date, Jet City has released a total of 21 music videos and their undeniable talent and genuine character has brought them a dedicated fanbase that continues to expand. Jet City has had its fair share of hardships throughout the pandemic not being able to perform and make the income they otherwise would, but their aim in hip-hop isn’t for wealth and fame, but to use their love of the genre to create songs that can help someone get through whatever storms they are enduring. To this end, they have also created their podcast ‘Hip Hop is Life’ to connect with their fans and be present through these trying times.

With the 13-track album making its arrival on January 1st, Jet City has released two singles, ‘Highs and Lows’ and ‘Moment.’ Each serve as a medicine to the world. The first, ‘Highs and Lows’ discusses the brutal reality of suicide and the tragedy of the missing, murdered men and women across Canada and the world. The accompanying music video is scheduled for release on January 15th and features Nucky Jmc, Ag Souljah and Mic North delivering an uplifting final verse. Nucky Jmc is currently enjoying the success of his number one hit ‘Forever’ on the Indigenous Music Countdown while Ag Souljah who is also an Indigenous artist is making moves creating his lane as a dope and talented artist.

The second single ‘Moment’ revolves around love and being the moment with a special someone. It features a smooth hook from Loco 2k, and a bridge of similar depth by Aye Michelle while Mic north and Rup Monsta does their thing on the verses.

City of the Jets shares production between elite producer/owner Rup Monsta who handles 80% of production, 19-year-old CCIV, and Peshawn kelly also from Winnipeg, Manitoba. This potent combination of talent gives the album a sound unique to Winnipeg, coining it as Boom Trap, boom-bap sample sound with trap style drums. Jet City is the face of hip-hop in Winnipeg and distinguishing the sound of their city from the competition. As the world submerges in their powerhouse album, Jet City also has solo albums planned from every artist on their roster. With their dedication and love for hip-hop, the future may be seeing a new label at the top soon.

Bello Duo are spreading joy, one song at a time and have just released a new album

Conor Taggart & Victoria McClements originally began singing together at weddings as singing waiters, normally falling over with a tray of cutlery and bursting into song! What they didn’t know though, was that they would soon fall for each other. In late 2019, Conor and Victoria’s friendship grew into a loving relationship.

When Covid19 hit, Conor & Victoria isolated together in Victoria’s grandparents’ house and with the country in complete lockdown and a lot of time to kill, they began singing together. Taking original anthems and transforming them into duets, coming up with their own arrangements and harmonies and trying to make themselves different from the standard duo out there; it started to become something very special.

Initially, this was all in aid of the wonderful health service and key-workers who had been fighting the horrific battle of C19. Every Thursday night, Conor & Victoria would stand in the street and serenade the neighbours to show their appreciation for the amazing frontline workers saving lives. Within a few weeks of lockdown, their Thursday night show had become very popular and a few of their videos reached over 150,000 views. Not only were they delighted with the positive response but loved bringing a little bit of cheer to those at a very difficult time.

Fast forward 6 months and they have now released their own album ‘Out of the Darkness’, a music video, and are writing original material.

They are also currently taking wedding bookings and planning their theatre show. It’s safe to say the future is bright for Bello Duo and they can’t wait to share the journey with you all.

Blind Season breathes life into a new era of music with new single ‘One Final Goodbye’

Rock and Roll and turbulent relationships have gone hand in hand since
the beginning of time. The origins of Blind Season are no different.

Beginning with a rag tag group only forming through the means of owning
instruments, and an evening involving the smashing of a mutual friend’s
car, Blind Season had undergone 5 different incarnations until Shane
Sigro the founding guitarist was faced with the ultimate decision;
between succumbing to normalcy or proving the previous members wrong.
Choosing the latter, Sigro doubled down by taking vocal lessons and
penning the new music that would breathe life into the new era of Blind
Season.

Blind Season’s upcoming album is an ode to loneliness and toxicity that
feel as if they were ripped from Billy Corgan’s Diary and featured in a
film by Tim Burton.

With the current questionable climate of the world
there’s no question that this album will find its proper home and become
a sign of the times.

This song was the last song written in the drunken, sad trilogy, and
funny enough this song takes longer to play than it did to write. Music
and lyrics came almost instantly and it was me accepting that I didn’t
need that toxic situation and I was forcing myself to be happy, I was out
of it. It’s a triumphant ending for this mini story within the album,
and I thank the universe for this song
.” says Sigro

Talented Irish musician and author ‘Dar.ra’ is back again with a groovy new tropical rock direction on the banging ‘Rise Like The Sun’

While we as a world speed forward on an uncharted flight to an unknowable destination, predictions and hearsay is all you hear in the backseats on this excursion into a strange new Paradigm.

One prediction that has come to play out is Dar.Ra whose album New Kinda Normal released in 2019 told of tales of future society changes, while the front cover art showed a couple walking down and empty high street in a bubble.

Did he know something we didn’t at the time and was anyone paying attention to the fine lines of that release. Since we have seen massive changes and other artists not releasing any new material, we have seen more out put from Dar.Ra rather than less.

The EP ‘Stand Up For The Heroes’ was an honourable attempt to give the Keyworkers and Frontline Heroes of the Pandemic something more than just a round of applause, something that people could sing and show their Love, with proceeds given to Frontline worker charities.

The ‘Whisky n Honey’ EP featured a great Bowie style track with sublime subplot of a Love given up on for a pursuit of fast love and neon highs only to end up empty and alone wishing for a life that will never come back.

The Lights Dark Nights remix was the epitome of genre called ‘Rock Step’, which Dar.Ra claims to have invented. If you’re looking for the blueprint you can find it on this EP and the ‘New Kinda Normal’ Album

The latest release schedule doesn’t let up with a new single ‘Rise Like The Sun’. A Latin rock groove that cuts through the current climate like a hot knife through butter.

Uplifting sunshine grooves with remixes from Colombian to India, the UK with a few European mainland connections thrown in for good measure. The lyric suggests not been held down by the people in high places, the unknown powers who make decisions about out lives that we have no control over.

‘I want to rise like the sun and hold back for no one’ is a lyric sung with power and persuasion by Dar.Ra who takes a further dig at those powers by singing;

‘I wanna live the dream with impunity like the rich do with ease’, ‘I been crying crying out loud I been down in the dirt the dirt and the dust,
Trying to reach up from the gutter to the stars’

Sums up the frustration of the singer to be heard in a world that is obsessed with money and power rather than concern for the real issues that we face as a human race.

Dar.Ra has a way however of making the Music and melodies sound so sweet that you would miss the subliminal storylines that lurk beneath the clean mixes and beautiful musicianship on each track he puts out.

On the ‘Rise Like The Sun’ single there are 6 mixes all named after different places on the globe in an attempt to bring the world together rather than see ourselves separated by colours and creeds. Columbian Sun Cut is the real deal in the Latin house area and Vidula a producer from Sri Lanka puts his distinct flavours on his Indian Sun Remix.

The other remixes come from Dar.Ra and have an Indigenous theme to them as is also reflected in the Cover artwork which pays homage to the Aboriginal national flag.

Rise Like The Sun’ is out on Kusha Deep Music this fall.

Dar.Ra Biography

Dar.Ra is a Music Writer, Producer and Author who earned his stripes with hits for EMI and 21St Century Artists and set up the Kusha Deep Label in the 2000s releasing his first solo Album in 2009, called ‘Soul Hours‘. The UK, USA music press and radio, made Album of the week on Heart FM Spain, supported the album.

One of the tracks ‘Haunted Dancehall’ featured in a Hollywood film staring Hilary Duff and ‘Snakes On Planes’. Dar.Ra played on BBC Radio Cambridge to a million people live when they connected up their regional stations around the Midlands.

Various EPs ‘Now Is Now’, Live For Love, Cease Fire and soundtrack to film documentary ‘City Of Hope’ have also had millions of streams and lead to the recent album ‘New Kinda Normal’.

The Rock N Roll tour de force, that has seen three singles really make some movements happen in America, with well received Music video’s for ‘Rock Steady’ and ‘Night-Stepper’ being shot in NYC, while ‘Diamonds N The Shadows’ being shot in Atlanta.

Tracks have landed number 1 spots on Rock Radio stations around the USA, play-listed on TV stations LA TV, H2O NYC, Nashville Music TV as well as front cover of Hype Magazine, Top Hitz and Music Hit Box in The UK giving Dar.Ra, a very credible big Star status.

With two new EPs out ‘Stand Up For The Heroes’ a tribute to the keyworkers who have stood up to the task of the Pandemic and the Whisky n Honey EP this work continues to shape Dar.Ra’s musical catalogue.

The Beat remix called Bhangra Stance features on the Stand Up EP, is a powerful call to action for change. Top Hitz Music magazine to call the EP number 1 Lockdown release, while Music Mirror called the ‘Stand Up For The Heroes’ track, ‘the Rock anthem that Prince would of written, if he still graced this world’.

Dar.Ra has also written two books under his full moniker Darragh J Brady ‘Road Tales’ which is about amazing people with life changing stories that he met while touring the globe and ‘The Night That Jimi Died’ which is about a girl who channels the Spirit of Jimi Hendrix and rises to change the DNA of the World through Music. Both titles have also been given top reviews on Good Reads and Amazon Books.

The brand new single ‘Rise Like The Sun’ is out now on all good digital retailers.

‘Tiana Kocher’ is ready to ‘Take Over’ as she joins ‘Sage the Gemini’ on hot new single

Tiana Kocher teamed up with multi-platinum recording artist and rapper Sage the Gemini for her latest single release, ‘Take Over’, which she wrote with GRAMMY award-winning writer Candace Wakefield, and Sage the Gemini.

Releasing through Manila Music, the ‘Take Over’ music video was directed by Ali Zamani and produced by Zeus Zamani of AZ Films. Set on a Southern California sun drenched backdrop, ‘Take Over’ is a song about love, but through the eyes of both the male and female’s perspective of a couple finding each other and “taking over” the world together.

“Take Over’ was one of the first songs I ever recorded in Los Angeles,” says Kocher. “I recorded and filmed the music video over two years ago during summer 2018, and it was my first song working with a feature. I had an incredible time working with Sage, who ended up being one of my closest confidants in the industry. I consider him my big brother. I was fortunate enough to be able to work really closely with AZ Films to create a visual that matches the energy of the song. We always want to outdo ourselves, so we came up with the idea of filming the music video on a yacht! I had such a great time working with my closest friends on this music video.”

Sage the Gemini has been featured on several award-winning songs including records with Chris Brown and Flo Rida, and has produced a multitude of songs, most recently for Tinashe and Tyga.

Tiana Kocher has collaborated with several GRAMMY award-winning recording artists including TLC, Faith Evans and Latin reggaeton J. Alvarez amongst others, as well as multiple award-winning record producers including Laney Stewart, Leon “RoccStar” Youngblood, Warren Kurtiss and Tyler Reynolds.

Take Over’ is available for download on iTunes and all digital streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, Pandora, DEEZER, iHeartRadio, Google Play, and Xbox Groove.
