Anastacia Bella

Anastacia Bella is a new hot and upcoming artist who is going to make headway with her multi-talents. She was born too older parents in Chicago Illinois. She had a father who struggled with work, family and music life. Her father was a multi-talent as well who could sing, Write/Compose/Produce and play guitar. Starting at the age of 3 Anastacia’s father was teaching her how to sing and write Iryics. As she started getting older her father put her in music and acting classes at the age 5. When her father moved his family to Wisconsin. On her 7th birthday he put her on stage with him for the first time, to sing for all the veterans. As time went by her father had Anastacia singing with him at venues in Wisconsin until the age of 11.

Her family then moved back to Chicago Illinois because her father fell ill. Her father and her stopped performing because of his health issues. So, Anastacia was only performing in high school musicals and with a few local bands. She went on to college and was studying to get a degree in Music and Psychology. At that time family life then took over and she realized that she had to put her passions and dreams on hold. A bit later down the road she decided to get back into Acting and Singing. As she started working in the Independent Film Industry. She decided to work both sides of the coin and is Acting, Singing and working behind the scenes.

She is a Producer/Assistant Director/Casting Director/Art Director/Set Decorator/Assistant MUA. In the beginning of her career, she was working on a film project, that had to deal with the famous mobster AL Capone and his love for music. She told the Film Producer that she sings and writes music too. So, the Producer asked her to write a song for the film and to sing it in the movie. While she was in the process of writing her song and getting it together. The Producer was telling her how AL Capone wrote music too while being in jail. He then showed Anastacia copies of two music sheets that AL Capone supposedly wrote. The story goes that AL Capone wrote those songs for his beloved wife while being incarcerated.

But as Anastacia was reading the sheet music to both of the songs something felt off. To her the lyrics seemed to not match up and she felt that the lyrics where not about his wife Mae Capone. So she told the Producer that she felt that AL Capone did not write these songs. The Producer started to be very adamant with her that he did. That’s when she took it upon herself to go investigate the matter on her own. To prove to the Producer that her hunches were not wrong.

She did some very deep investigations and at times would hit a brick wall. But she was so determined to find out the truth of it all. After exactly one year to the date that she started looking. She finally found what she was looking for and it got her in the Boston Globe Newspaper on May 19, 2018. With the headlines saying “They finally got AL Capone for tax evasion. But what about Plagiarism”? Anastacia had exposed the famouse mobster AL Capone for Plagiarism. She achieved what no historian has ever done.

A lot of other historians have thought that he did write those songs. So, from this achievement it in turn has given her Celebrity status. A year later the Pandemic hit and then she met Pop Star Gene Roberts on Facebook. Anastacia Bella found out that they share a lot of the same qualities and talents. She views Pop Star Gene Roberts to have a very dynamic and unique way with his music. So, after conversing with each other they decided to get together. To form Eugana Records LLC and to wow the world with their music.

Gene Roberts

Gene Roberts is a well-known artist in the Music Industry making a huge comeback with his multi-Talents. Pop star Singer-Songwriter/Producer/Composer Gene Roberts grew up In the Bronx, New York. He started playing music at the age of seven years old. Gene became a fast learner and started to wow people with his creative talent. Then he started working with local bands, at the age of 13. A small record label called Saunder Records seen him perform and picked him up. Gene Roberts went on to record his first album with that label.

Some of his songs from that album had made radio airplay during that time. As time went on he then got picked up agian by a major label, called Mercury Records. During that time two singles of his where released by the Label. The one song called “The One You Love” made gold. With his newly found fame he was determined to become a household name. Later on he left Mercury Records to pursue his career with a different label called Val Records LLC. The owner of Val Records LLC, Virginia Ann Lomnicki also became Gene Roberts personal manager. In 2009 he made an album called “WaterRain” and that too went gold for him.

It went on various major radio stations like Power 105.1 Fm, Hot 97 and other radio stations. He also got the privilege to perform his hit songs live on the radio. For a radio DJ at the Bowery Poetry club in New York City. The three songs that went gold for him on that album are, “Your Undercover”, Is It Love, and Your The One. The song “Your The One” became a well-known jingle on t.v. Statewide. The Campbell’s soup company picked it up and used it in their Heart and Harty commercial for two years. His fame got him a chance to appear on the Dave Letterman show and the Apolo in Harlem. His career at that time started to take off even higher than ever. He then started to act in movies and played alongside famouse A-list actors like, Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. That film was called “The Papers”.

Also he was acting on various television shows like “Law and Order” special victims unit. Blue Bloods and Daredevil just to name a few. In 2020 he left Val Records LLC/Val management to co-create Eugana Records LLC. During that time, he met Anastacia Bella and found out that they share a lot of the same passions. Gene Roberts thinks that Anastacia Bella has a very cool and edgy sense of music style. So, after some collaborating and expressing how they appreciate one another’s Singing/Writing abilities. They decided to partner up and show the world their unique flavor.

Few doubt the talents of Alvin Giles. He is an accomplished producer, audio engineer, arranger, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. After a ten-year hiatus, and under a new moniker; Giles, formally known as Vthov, makes his return as a musical artist.

Blending genres like a pro, Giles fuses hip hop, r&b, and soul with a myriad of intriguing elements from other genres. While his resume proves he can perfect any style, he returns to his hip hop roots for “Alive.”

Hailing from the United States, Madi Simmons entered the performing scene at the age of 16. He started out playing the drums, songwriting and singing. Throughout his life Madi’s key musical influences have been Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, John Bonham, Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, and that’s just to name a few……honestly, there are so many other influences, you will actually hear them in his voice.
Madi has got a wide musical range and has the ability to send your mind to a nostalgic place……with vibes that remind us of Black Uhuru and a voice that combines Gregory Issac, Peter Tosh and Dennis Brown into one – Madi Simmons is still pushing out his sweet reggae music.

Simon Bohnsack also better known under the pseudonym Destroyed Jeane “DJ” Kaito was born on 2 August 1997 in Hanover, Germany. Kaito lived out his creative musical side in childhood. He played mandolin, harmonica and piano at the age of 12. His love of music prompted him to use the YouTube platform for himself in 2011 and try it out for himself. For this reason he took over the channel from a friend, today known as Vier Sterne Deluxe Records. At the end of 2011 he also founded the music project “Vier Sterne Deluxe” with his colleague and friend “DJ Sheldon”, which has been released to this day with alternating cast, two albums and two EPs.

Besides countless cover songs and mixes and the mixtape “DJ Kaito Nr.1”, 2012 saw the release of “6. October (Day of the Nations)”, an independent – and solo produced – single for the first time.
One year later his 2012 released Mix of “Revenge” became a surprising viral hit with ten-thousand of views in a short time. Due to the viral success of the music video, further mixtapes and EPs were released. In 2013 Simon released the concept mixtape “Das Vermächniss der RST” which consists of syllables without meaning. Due to the interest of the fans in this kind of music, which from now on is known as RST, songs of this kind by Simon have been released until today. In 2020 the German YouTuber Tanzverbot made that style mainstream.

In 2015 the RST music video “Don’t wanna be a Quader” from the Album “Best of DJK” became a viral hit.
After the success of the music video and the album, Simon set out on a dream come true: An own tour.
In May 2016 it was time after months of work. Hamburg, Braunschweig, Düsseldorf and Hanover were the stops on the “Mahnwachen Tour 2016”. One year later, the “STOPP RAMSTEIN Tour”, which was also advertised on national TV, continued the success of the tour.
In the same year the album #LightningQuader appeared with a big promotion. It is still one of his most successful albums.
In the meantime, he collaborated with various artists such as Paula P’Cay, Sintakk, Diehlenbrothals or the music project WAMP.

At the beginning of 2018 Simon came out as maby the first German Rapper that is pansexual and retired great to have time for himself.  Despite this, he appeared on the 4th Nationwide pece vigil in Berlin with 2017 chartbreaker Kilez More and other musicians. Also in Hambug a live album was recorded, which released at the end of the year.
In 2019 he returned with the album “Signal kommt”. Songs out of it appeared all across the US on radiostations and magazine stories followed.

For 2021 he announced a 10 Year anniversary tour through Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and UK. Do to Covid-19 he must cancel it. A B Plan was made for that year: 12 Months – 12 Singles and a Best Of Album.

Artist Will has taken a lot of inspiration from Avicii, Seeb and Alan Walker.Will grew up in an environment where music dominated when it came to entertainment in South Africa. “There was quite a lot of African dance music in my life as a child. But the music that fascinated me was Rap music from the United States. Then there were Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Tupac and Dr. Dre very popular. However, I was the only child who listened to that music, thanks to my cousins who I visited from time to time. I heard nice, simple, strong Gangsta Rap melodies, especially by Dr. Dre and understood how it comes about that people can not live without music.” says the rapper

After hearing Dr. The Dre 2001 record, and the 2Pac All Eyez On Me record, Will already knew then that he might be able to make music.
“I started doing beats and mixing in 2008. I have always had a little more fun projects running. It’s now that I’m starting to take the whole thing seriously. Now that I feel I’m ready to compete for a place among the big producers.” he continues

True Ahmed has been making music since 2008. Ahmed grew up going to recording studios with his father, when he used to make music and fell in love with it ever since. In High School he saved enough money to build a small studio in his room and started to learn and expand his sound from there, but it was still early days.

During Quarantine in 2020 he recorded over 300 songs, all unreleased and kept continuing to make music. He then decided to set a goal for himself, to record a whole mixtape in 2 days, and that is how ’So Versatile Vol. 1’ was born.

“I set a goal to record as much as I can in one weekend and this is what I made.” says Ahmed. “My project is a compilation of 10 songs I thought fit into a style of mine. One of my songs ‘Run it Up’ is very meaningful to me because I got my dog barking in the song days before he passed away.”

He decided to title the mixtape “So Versatile Vol.1” because there is only one style out of many others he has with his music.

He continues, “It’s about the versatility. All the songs are similar but it’s within the different projects you can see it!”

“This is my first project I have released to the public because I feel like it is time for me to show the rest of the world what I can really do!”

Rock and Roll and turbulent relationships have gone hand in hand since the beginning of time. The origins of Blind Season are no different. Beginning with a rag tag group only forming through the means of owning instruments, and an evening involving the smashing of a mutual friend’s car, Blind Season had undergone 5 different incarnations until Shane Sigro the founding guitarist was faced with the ultimate decision between succumbing to normalcy or proving the previous members wrong. Choosing the latter, Sigro doubled down by taking vocal lessons and penning the new music that would breathe life into the new era of Blind Season.

Blind Season’s upcoming album is an ode to loneliness and toxicity that feel as if they were ripped from Billy Corgan’s Diary and featured in a film by Tim Burton. With the current questionable climate of the world there’s no question that this album will find its proper home and become a sign of the times. 

Their latest single ‘Save You’ by Blind Season, musically is the simplest song on the album, but as a completed song it sat around for years. It’s about a long distance relationship that didn’t work out. It comes across powerfully though and the group are proud of it.

Trock Jones was born in Baltimore City and was raised in York PA since he was 15 years old. He is inspired by Lil Wayne – “Growing up I always thought he was the best rapper alive so every time when he would record a song I would try to get on the same beat and outdo him in a verse, by me doing so, I’ve become very very good at songwriting and music writing to the point where now every song I basically make sounds extremely good, I set myself a goal to be better than Lil Wayne and in the process I bettered myself so much as a music artists but now I don’t try to be better to him anymore because I am already just as good.”

Italy’s rock-duo Eradius has just released a brand new EP titled ‘Vol.1’
The 6 song effort features the highlight singles “Another Time”, “Until The End”, and “Handgun” as well 3 still new discoverable tracks in “Give It To Me (feat Stanthony)”, “Naive”, and “See Your Face”

Each track brings its own unique blend of rock, dance, style, and aggression in its respective elements. Having been influenced by others who utilize the low-end of things as the main driving factor, with this group, it really does seem to mesh well!

Independent singer-songwriter TaniA Kyllikki has released a heartfelt new single also named WHY. This very emotional song is based on true events from her own life. And has already received a lot of attention gaining over 130K on Spotify alone in a short time frame. Being a victim of sexual abuse followed by years of emotional and physical abuse, TaniA has displayed bravery by allowing herself to be transparent with her fans by sharing her very traumatic experiences through her lyrics.

The “Lie With Me” singer has always been able to bring great storytelling to her fans with her lyrics that are very raw, vulnerable and beautiful. The music video of WHY gained over 30K in just a day of its release. It starts by showing a woman looking broken and defeatist. As the video progresses further along, TaniA is seen cradling her pillow with tears falling down her face as she looks vulnerably into the camera. Following after this scene, is a curly haired little girl playing the role of TaniA as a child who loved to collect seashells at the beach. It shows a time when TaniA was happy in her life before all the abuse began.

The emotional journey described by fans as being like a movie of TaniAs life, then finishes off with a close up of TaniA looking into the camera with tears filling up in her eyes. The music for WHY has been beautifully produced. The heartfelt music brings all the necessary emotion for each chapter of the song from start, build up, to end. TaniA starts off singing in her lower register which is filled with soulful heavy rich belts. As the song progresses towards the end, TaniA starts singing in her higher range that has a more angelic classical sound the higher she goes. This then finishes with a beautifully controlled high note.

TaniA’s fans desribed how she sang WHY as being a clever way to tell a story of a broken woman who refused to stay down. By singing in her lower register then transitioning into her higher register, this represents great strength from a young woman who has hit rock bottom, to then being able to get back up and heal from the traumatic trauma she has faced. This makes ‘WHY’ feel relatable for TaniA’s audience who may have suffered the same experiences. What TaniA has been able to do with ‘WHY’ is use her creative talent to take back the power that had robbed her of her self-esteem for years. By turning her pain into something positive just by breaking her own silence, will help others heal in their own suffering. Every type of abuse is a serious issue, whether it is sexual abuse, domestic abuse, physical abuse, or mental abuse. Being able to be open about abuse experiences will help and do something to heal wounds. Abuse is not love and TaniAs song WHY provides this very powerful message.

Sugar Loaf Walker is the solo project of artist, Vivek Ayer, which was born in 2009. His work, a set of winding, intriguing and imaginative instrumentals, has come a long way from its creative beginnings. Recording a set of demos in 2009 in Bethnal Green, London, Vivek took influence from the world around him. London’s sprawling urban landscape formed a potent backdrop, the changeable British weather set the tone, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy as well as various conspiracy theories all swirled in rich alchemy to form a set of raw instrumental tracks. “The Sugar Loaf Walk alleyway next to my flat gave the sound its name, and the first song I wrote was to become the first track on this album, The Late Summer.” says Ayer

Fast forward to 2020 and the chaos of the pandemic gave way to the inertia of lockdown. Vivek dug out those old demos and Sugar Loaf Walker was re-born.

“The melodies of the songs inspired me to bring back Sugar Loaf Walker and finish the album, properly this time.” continues Ayer

He worked with a remote team bringing his original demos to life. Inspired by his mother-in-law Penny’s charming car license plate B9 PNY, he named the demo Benign Penny. The album title now has a new and deeper meaning as the artist sadly lost his wonderful mother-in-law in 2010. His daughter was born in 2015, and took on the name Penny, keeping her grandmother’s spirit with her. The album cover, is a photograph of his daughter Penny, caught reaching out to the Fender Stratocaster that you can hear throughout this record.

The album is dedicated to Penelope Ruth Corbett and Penelope Lakshmi Ayer.

Joseph C Guess grew up in a music family but didn’t realise his music talent until much later on in his life. Although he didn’t discover his music talent at first, writing poetry became an outlet for him as a teenager.

“I didn’t appreciate music earlier on probably because it reminded me of being the only son who wasn’t musically talented. I was more into sports back then. I think at the age of 14 years old was when I started listening and appreciating music.” says the artist

He started writing poetry in 2020 during the epidemic to release stress from this nightmare in this world. Then later that year him and his wife planned a vacation to Daytona Beach, Florida to celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary and 13 years together.
He came up with an idea to get an unexclusive lease on an instrumental beat from J Grooves and then he wrote a song called LaRisa.

“I wrote this song,” LaRisa” after my wife’s name to dedicate to her for our 9th wedding anniversary and it became so well liked that people including my wife told me that I have to show this song to the whole world. Rob Mitchell started songwriting when he graduated from High school. Rob’s music style comes from many elements mostly 80’s and 90’s. Rob is influenced by dance music. House music. Rap, and electronic music and has a flair of writing songs that are ready for radio edit production. He realized how playing an instrument is very therapeutic and very important to him. In High School Rob enjoyed playing the trumpet but realized that playing the piano was so much better and so took up classical guitar. Robert took piano lessons at Montgomery College as well as music theory. He also took more piano lessons at the Music and Arts Center in Rockville, MD. After the Pulse Nightclub Shooting, Queer Singer-Songwriter Erene Mastrangeli Had No Choice But To Write Her Upcoming Single to Fight Hate With “Love, Shine”
“Love, Shine”, the new single from Erene Mastrangeli, was released on April 30th on all digital platforms via Beige Records.

When Italian singer-songwriter Erene Mastrangeli heard the news of the tragic mass shooting at Pulse nightclub, in Orlando, FL on June 12th, 2016, time stopped and devastation set in. At the time, what had taken place at Pulse was the deadliest shooting in U.S. history, and it targeted her community, the LGTBQ community, directly, fatally and intentionally. She was practicing for a show when she heard the news. She stopped everything. She didn’t know what to do with herself, but she felt like a hole had opened up in the center of her body: like something went missing. She felt the sudden loss of 49 innocent lives — people she didn’t know personally but whom she felt were a part of her family. She eventually went back to the guitar because that’s the way she processes her feelings, and started playing a riff that became the guitar intro of “Love, Shine.”

“Love, Shine” is the title track of Erene’s new album, due out later this year. The song informed the rest of the album and it marked a huge shift in Erene’s writing. “I believe that “Love, Shine” came to me to give me a specific mission: to nurture love in people’s hearts and defeat hatred, racism, discrimination and inequality through music,” says Mastrangeli.

A phenomena that was paused only by a global pandemic, mass shootings have reemerged in Atlanta and Boulder just to name a few. “This song can’t wait any longer to be released,” she said. After these last two incidents, Erene Mastrangeli set a date to release “Love, Shine” as the third single of the record.

At first you may hear echoes of songwriters from the 70s in Mastrangeli’s music. It’s not an accident that she was nicknamed the ‘Italian Joni Mitchell’ during the recording of the album while recording in Rome. But half way into this song it’s clear that it has Erene’s unmistakable stamp on it through and through. Her unique use of harmonies and chord progressions creates infectious and distinctive sounds, perfectly suited to deliver such a powerful message with a seductive tenderness.

The anguish of her plea to stop gun violence and end the massacre of life is marked by an insistent drum beat in the verse. The plea finds an uplifting and glorious resolution in the chorus where she invokes LOVE to come over us humans and shine bright. The bridge builds majestically up to the last chorus with her backing vocals and electric guitars played by her formidable producer, Daniele Sinigallia. Recorded by renowned musicians she met in Rome during an extended stay in her native land, this song is Erene Mastrangeli’s presentation to the world not just as an artist but also as an activist, operating on the intention to contribute to world peace and defeat discrimination, hatred, racism, and inequality.

Out of Breath is the title of Philip’s debut single which was released on the 30th of April 2021.
The song is a kind of “burnout-anthem”, which deals with themes like overthinking and the fear of not being able to live up to your own expectations. These thoughts are in many ways a sign of these crazy times we are living in, where Corona virus and a seemingly endless lockdown has made it difficult to remain optimistic. Furthermore it touches upon how it may seem as if you “have it all in your hands”, and have everything figured out (for example on social media), when in reality you are struggling to pick yourself up and keep going.

Philip is the 22-year-old danish singer and songwriter Philip Bæk Hedegaard, who fell in love with music when he got his first guitar at the age of 13. After years of intensive and disciplined practice, and a dream of attending the Royal Danish Academy of Music as a guitarist, he discovered songwriting. The guitar became more of a tool in the hunt for “the good song”, and the dream of becoming a guitarist was replaced by the dream of becoming an artist.

Philip explores the modern pop sound in combination with organic elements. With a playful approach to production, and a youthful and honest lyrical universe, he finds himself somewhere in between the naive and thoughtful.

Spliffy Mars is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2019. Growing up around areas of Hartford and spending time in the suburbs before moving to East Atlanta at 14, he claims he’d been to so many schools with so many different people and backgrounds, that this diversity influenced the variety in his taste in music and style.

Growing up listening to artists like Chief Keef, Nirvana, Kanye West, Jay Electronica, Future and Tyler The Creator are just a handful of his inspirations. His unorthodox catchy melodic type style is often compared to artists like Playboi Carti, Young Thug, or Chief Keef, but Mars has his own unique style and voice. Having always had a natural talent for songwriting, it wasn’t until late 2018 that Spliffy Mars decided to release his music into the world via SoundCloud. After a number of his tracks gained traction and he began building momentum with his fanbase, Spliffy Mars dropped his first project entitled “Strictly 4 My Rounds” which was released on all platforms on July 27th, 2019, where he showcased his new style and experimented early with the hyper pop or pop trap sound.
Since releasing this project Mars started building his fan base more by traveling the north east and doing a considerable amount of shows.

Spliffy Mars combines a variety of compositional and aesthetically pleasing elements to form his unique sound and style which differentiates himself from the basic crowd of hip hop music with sub genres such as hyper pop or spacious music.

This LP marks the first full embodiment of the artist as it has not a single feature and only features the unique and bright mesmerizing vocal style of the artist as well as the high quality and thorough production of tysouf.

This new LP follows and continues the journey that Mars is embarking on, dabbling in the underground scene trying to break into the mainstream.

Mars talks about many topics from his lifestyle choices his upbringing and serious topics that he goes through in life while making it sound like a party song at the same time with songs like BraVo! or Lemonade. The whole album itself sets itself aside from many and is truly a pure album for those who just want to live life at the fullest potential with no regrets. Mars also claimed the album isn’t a story telling album it’s a project for you to just tap into his side of things as far as his emotions and different moods.

All the songs are very specific to the style Mars has been embodying recently. You can very much describe his music as very fantasy like and bouncy having melodies similar to pop music or having heavy inspiration from pop elements and the genre itself. At the same time when he is not using his fast paced and hyper flows, Mars can dumb down his vocal state to a real calm and low vibrational tone that will seemingly set the mood for any type of activity that involves relaxation or being under the influence.

Being versatile between these two styles he calls “Pop Trap and Spacious Music” it makes the music more exciting and more pulling to the listener. It’s not like u have an album full of the same song over and over again. A prime example on this project is like listening to the third track “Her Dance” produced by platinum producer Pierre Bourne, being an upbeat song with a faster tempo and having a happier melody then going into the fourth track with the song opening with a slower paced tempo and a melody sounding like it came straight out of a 1990s arcade game. Going towards the end of the project the songs go into a real chill state and ends with “Friends Till The End” which is a classic.

Born in Owensboro; the industrial, medical, retail and cultural hub of western Kentucky, Gerry Smoot let the elements of his surroundings birth a multi-instrumentalist musician. Propelled to learn and eager to match his influences; Jeff Lorber, Prince, D’Angelo, George Duke, Art Tatum, and John Blackwell Jr., just to name a few, Gerry was on the “keys” by the age of 2.

With more inspirations from Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, Gerry was playing the drums by age 7, bass guitar by age 9 and having full music recording sessions by age 12. The dedication and passion for music was a born identity. This vision manifested itself when at the age of 15, Gerry accompanied gospel jazz keyboard producer Ben Tankard on the organ.

Koko Nova is the next buzz in the alternative pop scene. Her soulful storytelling is brought to life by her exquisite sound, vivid lyrics and carefully crafted sonic experiences. Her background in science lends a unique touch to her songwriting: abstract motifs and elaborate constructs. She wants to encourage her listeners to embrace their full spectrum of emotions and not be held back by expectations and judgement: let’s be the sentient humans we were born to be! The song is a multi-faceted soul/electro-pop gem with a touch of funk and exotic sounds. On the surface it may appear just like another love song, but don’t get fooled so easily! Originally inspired by her love of (or rather addiction to) tea and of course by an important ex-lover, the song has a much deeper message. It draws attention to addictions in our lives: coffee, cigarettes, love, social media, you name it. The more you listen to the song, the more you start travelling through various visions and feelings that it evokes. Koko collaborated on her debut single with a talented producer, Retro Island Studio, who was able to help her bring to life all her visions.

There are multiple instruments throughout the song, but one in particular was key to giving the song a touch of exotic flair: there’s an Indian sitar motif right in the beginning that repeats a couple of times throughout the song, and connects with the tea theme.

Koko grew up in Hungary, the country of Liszt and Bartok, where she was introduced to the world of music as a toddler thanks to her parents. As a child, she loved dancing and singing and began playing the violin. During high school she decided to pursue her interest in science and set off to London to study Computer Science. After graduating, she worked in the corporate world. She thought she found her dream job when she one day realised that she was caged, and far from her free-spirited self. After working and travelling all around the world, and with a failed startup under her belt, Koko finally decided to pursue her lifelong passion for music. Eskeel releases her debut album “Moral Images”, with a healing song called “Trees”.

In her 15 years of songwriting “Trees” holds a special place in the heart of the young artist, Evely Skeel aka Eskeel.

Weeks after Evely got out of hospital having her thyroid removed she fought everyday to get out of bed. Being in nature, walking in the forest among the trees brought her peace and helped her heal from the mental wound that the very aggressive graves disease had caused her, a disease that had haunted her since her young teens. Physically drained and mentally exhausted Evely found comfort gazing at the trees while thinking about the animals and people that suffered fates equal or even worse than her.

She imagined trees holding these sufferers in warm embrace and healing them. This thought washed over her being in calmness and brought her a sense of relief.
“Even when suffering greatly there is strength in thinking about others who suffer as well and what you can do for them” she says.
The song came like a flash and it would be the first song on the album to present one of the key things in Evely’s music – Compassion.
The song kept inspiring Evely to fight for her life and find ways to heal. After three years she recovered and decided to release the song along with the rest of the album, hoping that the song will help others as it did for her.

It is the follow-up to their full length release, AfroSoul Volume II: MaZai, hailed as “earthy and rootsy and good for your ears” by CBC’s Errol Nazareth. Amai Kuda’s debut album, Sand from the Sea, was considered “one of the year’s most exciting discoveries” in 2012 (Nicholas Jennings – Canada’s foremost music journalist and historian).

Amai Kuda et Les Bois have been featured in NOW magazine and on CBC’s Canada Live and Big City Small World, as well as performed at venues like the Jane Mallett Theatre, Harbourfront, The Rivoli, and festivals such as Luminato, Kultrun, and Small World Music Festival. They’ve give workshops on music, decolonization, and African cultural knowledge at schools, universities, and community centres internationally. Amai Kuda et Les Bois share a fluid and stunning new single, Ecouché. The piece is sonic magic -a spell for healing of the waters, it will arrive as the first single from Amai Kuda et Les Bois’ upcoming full-length album, EmUrgency!, to be released as a limited edition vinyl recording on May 20.

Channeled and sung entirely in a language of ancestral communication, Ecouché can never be performed the same way twice. The song was written and produced by Amai Kuda Yemoja Ile, with vocals, guitar by Amai Kuda Yemoja Ile, and second guitar from Jimmy Smalbach (Jimmy Kiddo).

“I prefer to be formless, like water,” JM says. “I once heard a quote from Bruce Lee that said ‘If you put water in a vase, it becomes the vase,’ so put me in any music genre, and I become the genre, like water.”

Much like his genre-melding yet fluid ‘formless’ musical creations, Jesus Muhammed as an artist is a bit of an enigma. Music – for JM – comes to his mind in mental waves and flashes of colors, shapes and patterns.

Whether he has a mild form of the fascinatingly weird disorder known as synesthesia or it’s just the way his musical brain works – whatever the source of his genius, it’s a mesmerizing mix of electronica, hip hop rhythms, other-worldly vocals and street-style rhyming that he creates.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Saint Albans, Queens, JM took music lessons from a former James Brown guitarist, and was surrounded by 1950s pop and 70s reggae played by his music-loving parents. They bought JM and his brother a full set-up of instruments as they were growing up, but while his mother hoped he’d learn to play classic pop songs, JM instead wanted to bring to life the music he heard in his head.

“When I first started making music, I was excited and anxious – I wanted to create more than I wanted to chase tale,” he says. “Creating music keeps me alive.”

A self-described loner and artsy brooding character as a teen, JM’s life revolved around his Walkman and a ton of CDs in his book bag. He wrote lyrics as a child, but it was a friend in High School that spurred him on to compete in rap battles – he would battle rappers and spoken-word artists from other neighborhoods, then go home and write more scathing rhymes to be ready for the next day’s battle. His musical passion turned serious as he started a group called tha Villianz Gang. They played some shows and had a great time, but massive egos and internal strife tore the group apart. JM’s rap-battle talent and reputation quickly exceeded his competition, so he decided to ratchet his music career up another level with a music manager. He’d go on to perform in small New York City venues, paying his music dues (as they call it) and learning the ropes of the music business and performing.

JM used this time to begin reinventing himself as an artist and knew that he was going to start making his own rules for his music and career. JM came out of his reinvention musically reborn, focusing intently on the visual aspect of his music, and the mystery.

“This is music I can see,” he says. “The art is a response to my existence.”

The song ‘Heart On Her Sleeve’ is about a woman being vulnerable and always being unconditional. It refers to a popular phrase meaning she is always giving all her love and always running back to her partner because no matter what they go through she loves him too much to ever leave him. The phrase “she wears her heart on her sleeve” is referred to in the song as saying she’s always vulnerable in her relationships.

It concludes her putting herself out there because she has a big heart and because she learned in life to never give up on people.. she’ll never give up on the people she loves even if they’re breaking her heart.. she still loves with her whole heart even when it feels broken and sometimes she wants the same love she gives in return..

DJ and Producer Eduke has already made a name for himself as one of the top 30 Tech House artist in 2020 and 2021 according to Beatstats.com. Eduke did not start making dance music until 2013, even though he has been producing and writing for over 20 years. Prior to 2013 he made commercial pop music and wrote acoustic ballads which many in the underground dance scene shy away from. It was not until he lost his mother from a battle with Cancer that Eduke decided to pivot into House music, Tech house and Techno with a little stint in Edm.

When asked what was it about the loss of his mother that inspired him to start making House music, he said “After I lost my mother to Cancer, I didn’t want to make or listen to sad music any more. Dance music to me was the perfect alternative. In fact, I started producing dance tracks on my lap-top as a way to deal with the pain of watching a loved one wither and die. Producing uplifting, high energy tracks was my distraction. It took me to a place away from the gloom and hopelessness”.

The name Eduke is an African name borrowed from his mother after her passing on May 14th 2014. The artist decided to use the name as a way to pay respect to someone whom he says “sacrificed her entire life for her Faith and her children”.

Eduke says his need to spin music was the result of fate and survival. The music literally saved him in one of his darkest hours. In 2015 Eduke joined UK’s Concrete promo LTD as the exclusive promo company for his releases following the example of House music icons like David Penn and a slew of others. Kai Nanfelt’s song, “Sober,” tackles difficult topics such as mental health, substance abuse and suicide.

Just three months after its December release, the track has already garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify.

“This song [Sober] is written for my childhood best friend,” Nanfelt explained in an interview. “I wrote it one day while I was studying abroad in London, after he tried to commit suicide; it wasn’t the first time he had tried to do this. The first time was when we were in 8th grade, and we’ve been as thick as thieves ever since.”

“This time was especially hard for my friend because it was the first time we had been apart from one another. I was normally there for him in his worst moments, but it was much harder to do from a distance. He always struggled with substance abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts and anxiety. That day, he tried to overdose on pills and booze, but called me in the middle of the night (London-time). He told me what he did, and I immediately called his parents before they got him hospitalized. It was around 3 am for me, and I had work the next morning at a music label. I couldn’t sleep, though, so I decided to write ‘Sober’ instead.”

Nanfelt continued, “My emotions came pouring out, and as I cried over my guitar, I realized I had stayed up until 6 am – and finished my first draft of the song. I sent it to my friend, got ready for work, and waited for him to wake up and hear it. We had a good cry, and he vowed that he would never try to hurt himself again. Since then, he’s done much better, and brags that I ‘released a song about him.’ I am so proud of him for the progress he’s made, and this release was a testament to that growth.”

The Boston University graduate only recently found the time to prioritize his music career following the loss of his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the outbreak, the Rhode Islander conducted public relations for Boston Calling, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands Music Festivals – in addition to other jobs in the music industry in London and Boston.

Kai Nanfelt will be releasing a new single on March 19th, and has plans to release many more songs before the year ends. Keep an eye out for these tracks if you’re looking for music that isn’t afraid to cross boundaries. The 23-year-old cites John Mayer and Ed Sheeran as his main influences.

After a divorce, a life threatening trip to the hospital and a series of other setbacks, ThroneMuzik knew he had to keep going.

The Kith is an up-and-coming DJ duo consisting of two brothers born and raised in the Netherlands.

The duo is unique as the youngest brother is only 16 years old. Together they are at the start of their music career. Besides Slap House / Brazilian Bass they also make some heavier Bass House tracks.

Epic has released a new EP, ‘2 Love or ‘Not 2 Love’.

BE WITH ME is the first single from the E.P. ‘2 LOVE OR NOT 2 LOVE’. In this song Epic shares how one of his lovers wants something serious with him. She wants a serious relationship yet Epic still refuses to settle down, though it’s obvious that this is the girl for him.

The second single on this E.P. is SO FAR which is about Epic being away from one of his lovers and the distance begins taking a toll on him.

SHAWTY BAD, the third single, is about Epic finally finding the one for him or so it may seem.

The fourth song on this E.P. is titled 2 LOVE OR NOT 2 LOVE which is solely about Epic realizing one of his women has fallen in love. Epic also begins to question his own feelings for her causing this single to be very interesting.

The last song on 2 Love or Not 2 Love is DA GAME 101 which is the first time where Epic is getting played. This is one of the situations that may have been what led Epic down his path of playerism.

Epic Drip (Epic) is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who is currently living in Germany. He developed a love for music at an early age and started his hip hop journey listening to the greats; Biggie, 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, Snoop Dogg, DMX. As he aged, he moved on to artists like 50 Cent, Eminem, Ludacris, TI, Lil Wayne and various others who aren’t named but definitely played equal roles in Epic’s life. Epic began high school in Texas where he was introduced to Chopped N Screwed music and that Texas vibe. That vibe played a major role in the sounds Epic Drip creates today. 

Upon graduation from high school in 2003, Epic attended Fayetteville State University, where, he once again embraced his passion for music using his stage name “Da’Future”. He further honed his musical skills as an intern for the campus radio station, WFSS 91.9 FM and local radio station, Foxy 99 (WZFX 99.1 FM). While at FOXY 99, he got his first opportunity to be onstage with big time artists during Summer Jam 06.

Epic realized he could no longer refer to himself as “Da’Future”, so changed his stage name to “Epic Moment”. “Epic Moment” was actually given to Epic by one of his close friends and co-workers who made beats and was a fan of Epic’s music. 

He performed for the first time in 2013 at Zero Degrees nightclub in his hometown, where he received a lot of respect and was thought to have a New York sound. Due to the positive feedback, Epic continued making local live performances.  

Approaching year 2018, Epic stepped up his delivery dramatically. His timing, his bars and his song writing skills evolved into what we see today as “Epic Drip”. In 2020, he released his first two singles, “F*ck Wit Me” and “Like Money”. 

2021 has started off truly “Epic”. Epic not only released his first E.P. “Infatuation” featuring three singles “Ballin’ on Em”, “Settle Down” and “My Shawty”, but also begun working on his first official video titled, “Type of _”. On January 10th, Epic launched his YouTube channel, “Drip Service Ent.”, where he posted videos for all his current releases. On the 19th of January, Epic created his first official website to promote his brand, which launched on February 1, 2021.

“Body Language” is Chad Rubin’s third single off of his upcoming
album set to release this summer (2021).
The song is a look into the complicated feelings that come with a relationship. Being in love with someone you know is no good for you yet still, you can’t seem to stay away from the physical attraction. Seeing a way out, but not being able to take it while following them through the maze of emotions and human nature.

The music was produced to feel that driving force such a relationship can hold. The chorus was made to be the tension of the song releasing to a point of inebriation and no cares about anything except for dancing with that person.

Chad Rubin is a singer-songwriter, producer, musical director for film and theatre as well as lead man in his band, Chad Rubin & Breezy.

After writing and recording his first album in 2012 under a record and touring deal earned from being the writer and drummer for a touring pop punk band, Chad took on a job as an electrical engineer for the government for several years. He continued to write music and eventually realized he was living someone else’s life. This led to Chad returning to LA to self-produce and record his EP “Brighter Days” which led to singles with producer Curtis Douglas and eventually an A&R and Distribution deal under Sony affiliate Loren Israel which the upcoming album is being developed under.

Chad also acts, most recently in the film “Sweet Sunshine” in which he acted, produced, co-wrote and performed the soundtrack for as well as D2 advisor for all the performance scenes. Chad is currently slowing getting back to performing live in Arizona and Huntington Beach as he prepares to push the album nationally when things return to normalcy. Hoping to be on tour by Fall 2021. He will be continuing to release content including new singles leading up to the LP release.

Babyface Basil has just released a new track called ‘LSD’

The song “LSD” has been long since coming from a reputation that has been only known from words directly spoken into ears, eyes forced upon by watching the lightning strike of pure and spontaneous ingenuity and hands touched in gestures of respect, lips brushed by gentle romance, and brain cells burned by the resentment of a torturous society and the effects of having been barely able to remember anything of it at all.

The audience wonders, is the woman, the illusive “she” by which Basil seems fixated upon simply a metaphor for the memories he wishes to regain?

The instrumentation, produced by the illusive recluse known as AudioXanax from nearby Philadelphia, warbles electronic melodies of angelic vocals while harmonious strings push the song forward into suggestive territories only to be caught again as the viewers attention is snapped into motion by a well selected drum section, accented by a palate of electronic modulative effects. Each crack of Basil’s voice sounds intentional and each mesmorizing accent to the instrumental carries the song into new planes of reflection. We will allow you to be the judge of the experience.

To define Babyface Basil himself in 2021 is to define oneself through a drug addled haze of memories that only exist in the minds of the people that were left with an everlasting impression of him, drawn upon as a mere record and referendum that stirs every emotion on the spectrum (except fulfilment) depending on the particular event that he’s being reminded of. Music has always been a refuge for Lousid as it was his way of shutting the world off and getting lost in the music.

DRE! is a West Philadelphia hip hop artist who has been creating music since 2015.
He has just released a mash-up of unreleased music for fans of the Dr. Bidges and Big Bidges EP.

Says DRE! “The project is unreleased music that I created during the production of the Dr. Bidges EP, and Big Bidges EP. Some of the music was recorded in Los Angeles such as Watch Me Flex, and Hollywood, the rest of the songs were recorded in Philadelphia.”

The producers on the project are Birocratic and Who On The Track, and the rapper’s brother, Eddie Royal mixed and mastered the project with fellow West Philadelphia rapper and childhood friend, Trap Swarley.

Zakk Cash returns with a new single entitled ‘Haze, which features Johnnie Guilbert.

“‘Haze’ is about a low point where I was extremely sad. During the Pandemic, my living situation had turned toxic and I felt I had fallen into a deep hole I couldn’t get out of. Every day just felt like a constant struggle to do anything. I was sleeping 14 hours a day, having multiple panic attacks, and was feeling hopeless. I started writing Haze about feeling broken and in a constant state of fear. I wanted to write from the perspective as if I was looking in a mirror and talking to myself.” says Cash

On why he decided to bring Johnnie Guilbert to work with him on the song, Cash adds:
“Johnnie Guilbert was the perfect person to join this song. His voice is amazing! I knew he would be able to relate and craft his own lyrics around the feelings I was having.”

Cash also collaborated with Julian Comeau (Loveless), Eric Emery (Skyharbor) mixed the song and Tyler Smyth (DangerKids) mastered it.

Phil Mitchell is a composer, author and musician hailing from Chicago and started writing songs at a very young age. He writes music in an eclectic range of genres including jazz, classical, RnB, rock, blues and country.

He formed the Phil Mitchell Band in 2004 and they have performed at a variety of venues whilst recording music in the studio.

Their new album, A Better World, consists of eleven tracks.

The second track ‘Never Let It Die’ is an euphoric rock anthem with an instantly memorable title hook, featuring a magnificent vocal performance and more killer lead guitar.

‘My Love Is True’ is a female sung pop track with a soul/RnB influence which keeps it sounding modern. Musically, it’s a blend of tight, funky guitars and overdriven Rhodes electric piano.

The title track is a James Taylor/Simon and Garfunkel style acoustic ballad with an intimate and heartfelt lead male vocal, counterpointed by female backing vocals. The arrangement gradually builds to a mid paced groove with some exotic instrumentation that gives real richness and variety to the sonic texture.

‘God Bless this Child’ features some strong vocals by Natasha Shayenne. The ninth track The World Is A Beautiful Place is a change of pace; a toe tapping funk pop track with Nile Rodgers-type slick guitar and some superb drumming. The second section has some adventurous chord changes that show the deep harmonic knowledge behind the songwriting, yet it still works simply as just a very catchy pop track.

This is a hugely eclectic and wide range of songs unified by the artistic vision of Phil Mitchell. The album runs the gamut of human emotions, all expressed through a constantly evolving mixture of genres and styles. The mixture of male and female vocals also adds to the variety.

Canada continues to change the game, first Drake, now with independent label Jet City Records’ debut album ‘City of the Jets.’

Music has long been praised by artists for saving them from the path they once walked and giving them an outlet through the tough moments in life. Independent record label Jet City Records, also known as Jet City is using their love of hip hop to touch the world. With the dark place the world is in due to the Covid pandemic, many have suffered, and many more are suffering. Jet City has chosen this time to debut their first
album amid the crisis as a means to not only survive the lockdown but help the world navigate through it with their sound.

Jet city records is an indigenous/ Black-owned label from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that began its journey in 2019. It’s artists and founder all share the same vision and purpose, to use music to better the world and reach those who need it most.

The label comprises of artists Loco 2k, Nucky Jmc, Big Ox, Rup Monsta and founder and ex-drug dealer Nigel Pahl, now known as Mic North. North is a testament to the power music has to spark change and find a way out of crime and poverty.
Since his release from jail in 2011, music has continued to be his
gateway from his past and the catalyst to a brighter positive future.
With his life turning a new leaf, he has not only founded Jet City, but is an advocate for the youth with his youth-based workshop series ‘Maps Workshops.’

Nucky Jmc is currently enjoying the success of his number one hit ‘Forever’ on the Indigenous Music Countdown while Ag Souljah who is also an Indigenous artist is making moves creating his lane as a dope and talented artist.

The second single ‘Moment’ revolves around love and being the moment with a special someone. It features a smooth hook from Loco 2k, and a bridge of similar depth by Aye Michelle while Mic north and Rup Monsta does their thing on the verses.

City of the Jets shares production between elite producer/owner Rup Monsta who handles 80% of production, 19-year-old CCIV, and Peshawn kelly also from Winnipeg, Manitoba. This potent combination of talent gives the album a sound unique to Winnipeg, coining it as Boom Trap, boom-bap sample sound with trap style drums. Jet City is the face of hip-hop in Winnipeg and distinguishing the sound of their city from the competition. As the world submerges in their powerhouse album, Jet City also has solo albums planned from every artist on their roster.
