N2BLÜ return with a warm and strong Electro ‘Phoenix Heart’

Synth pop and Independent electro dance pioneers N2BLÜ return with a hot, warm and strong new single entitled ‘Phoenix Heart’.

‘Phoenix Heart’ delivers a strong personal message of strength and resilience through hard times and pain.

We asked Jonathan Arceneaux what the song was about and he said ”

‘Phoenix Heart’ is a very personal song for me. I’ve always identified with the legend of the Phoenix in that I have had to start over many times in my life, picking myself up from the proverbial “ashes” and move forward to the next chapter. It takes an incredible amount of strength and will to keep going after we’ve been knocked down in this life and we all have to have a Phoenix Heart to survive it. This song is dedicated to all of those who don’t give up and don’t quit, no matter what.

Born in New Orleans, Jonathan Arceneaux started singing not long after he learned to talk and hasn’t stopped singing since!

At a very young age Jonathan began his career as a singer in a church choir and started taking voice lessons in both classical and musical theatre styles. During his High School years in Baton Rouge, LA, Jonathan continued singing in the choir and participated in several musical theatre productions.

He also started to tap into his writing talents as a freshman in High School, drawing inspiration from some of his favourite bands and artists like Better Than Ezra, Duncan Sheik and Savage Garden.

Over the years following, Jonathan began to realize that his true passion was singing and writing Pop music, so he changed his focus from classical and music theatre to be a full time Pop singer/songwriter.

He is a passionate, true artist with emotional expression through his writing, production, and performance. Jonathan also enjoys collaborating with other artists to meld unique tastes in sound and texture.

In 2008 he worked with hit producers I-ROC (Universal Music/HappyMadison Productions/BZEE ROC) and RADIO (Chris Brown’s “Dreamer”/Blake Lewis’ “End of the World”).

As a result of the collaboration with RADIO in 2009, Jonathan released “From The Ashes”, under the name Jay Arseno, his sophomore follow up to his debut album in 2008, “Face In You Crowd”, under the name Jonathan Adam.

After the loss of his father to kidney cancer in August of 2009, Jonathan took some time off from music and in 2013 he decided to move from his home in Houston, TX to Los Angeles, CA for an immersive experience in the heart of the music industry.

While he learned a lot about the industry and himself, Los Angeles was not a good fit for him. So, in 2015 Jonathan decided to get back to his roots and move back home to the Big Easy, New Orleans. Not long after moving to New Orleans, Jonathan met Konstantin Smorodnikov, a personal trainer originally from Russia who had a love and talent for music as well.

Jonathan and Konstantin had an instant connection as friends and decided to start working on music together. While Jonathan came from more of a pop music writing background and classical vocal training, Konstantin’s background was in the club and dance music scene.

The next couple of years lead to the duo developing a seamless blending of Jonathan’s lyrics and vocals and Konstantin’s beats and instrumentation to create a sound all their own. In July 2018 they were approached by Loren Israel to participate in his song writing mentorship program.

Little did Jonathan and Konstantin know that this would be an integral turning point in their musical journey.

After a year of instruction, guidance, and tough love from Loren and by honing their skills in song writing and lyricism, they have emerged as the duo, N2BLÜ.

Born and raised in Kostroma, Russia, Konstantin Smorodnikov fell in love with music at early age. It was the structure of rhythm and arrangement that most interested him.

Around 15 is when he was introduced to computer music production.

At 18 moved to America where spent most of his 20’s going out to local dance clubs and learning all he could about technical side of production and sound engineering. He drew inspiration from DJ’s like Peter Rauhofer and Abel Aguilera.

In 2016 he met Jonathan Arceneaux. They realized that they both shared a passion for similar sounds and ideas in music and decided to give a musical partnership a shot.

The incredible ‘Martin Brothers’ Bring an 80’s Sheen back to life with ‘So Cold’

While the days are getting cooler and darker, so does the new single of the Two Brothers.

“So Cold” is the name of the new hot track that takes the listener right into the heat. It’s a kind of the cold and darker answer to their previous single “Looking For You”.

Of course, you’ll find all the Martin Brothers ingredients like the glittering synth-sounds, the spheric retro pads paired with a sing along chorus. But this time they added a touch of R&B to get the catchy groove constantly going. It’s one of those tracks that really capture the vibe of a big city night and mystical romance.

Imagine you drive with your car through the neon streets of Los Angeles, Bangkok and so on or walking down the stairs to an underground club, well So Cold will definitely bring you right into that mood.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Martin Brothers, if they didn’t also capture this feeling in a music video. Be sure not to miss that nightshift on YouTube, while they are heading right into the heart of downtown Los Angeles at midnight.

Listen to the song and ask yourself… will these “cold eyes” catch fire again?

Check out the Full Song Lyrics below.

LYRICS – UNICORN TRIBE – N2BLÜ

In the deepest part of my heart there lives a fantasy

A world inside set apart from this reality

Where magic is real, and we can live forever

Nobody can stop us from being together

All we want is to be who we are inside To be a part of The Unicorn Tribe!

The Unicorn Unicorn Unicorn Unicorn Tribe!

The Unicorn Tribe! The Unicorn Tribe!

The world outside may not see us for who we are

A prism of light within, we are made of stars Innocent and wise, but pain is the price we pay

Standing up for what’s right, we will not obey

All we need is to be who we are inside

To be a part of The Unicorn Tribe

The Unicorn Unicorn Unicorn Unicorn Tribe!

The Unicorn Tribe! The Unicorn Tribe! If we look inside our hearts

We all want the same thing To be seen for who we are

And that we are a part of something

If we look inside our hearts We all want the same thing To be seen for who we are

And that we are a part of something

We are part of the Unicorn Tribe

The Unicorn Tribe The unicorn unicorn tribe

The Unicorn tribe The unicorn tribe

Unicorn unicorn unicorn unicorn tribe

The unicorn tribe We are the unicorn tribe

LA’s ‘Shani’ returns with the beautiful ‘Sade’ esque ballad ‘Changing Tides’

These days, it’s rare enough to find an artist you truly love, be it an actor, musician or director.

It’s even more rare, however, to find one who is naturally skilled in all three sectors and manages to produce a delightful result every single time. That’s right, in this article, we’re talking about American artist Shani, a talented singer, and songwriter, as well as a gifted performer, director, producer, and actress. At first glance, it seems there’s truly nothing Shani can’t do (and do well, at that!).

The Los Angeles-based artist has penned multiple award-winning tracks, such as “El Llamar de Pasión – Call of the Wild” in the movie “Crash”, and “Rise” from the soundtrack for “American Wrestler”, which she performed with fellow musician Andy. As an actress, her credits include the Jack Black movie “Crossworlds”, as well as numerous TV appearances. And in between all this work in the arts sector, she’s still managed to put her seemingly interminably energy behind numerous charities and causes, using her voice to shine a light on the less fortunate.

Now, Shani returns to the music world with her latest release, entitled simply “Changing Tides”, a track recorded in quarantine, by the looks of it, yet not made any less great by it. Quite the contrary, in fact, since it seems that “Changing Tides” is rapidly gathering critical acclaim, despite being on the market for only a couple of weeks. The powerful melody that carries the piece resonates with even the most reluctant of listeners, and Shani’s sweet, yet emotion-charged voice lends a seductive feel to the whole tune. Accompanied by a tasteful arrangement of guitar, bass, sax, and keyboard, Shani creates an instant winner with “Changing Tides” and captures the listener’s attention.

At the risk of sounding cheesy, “Changing Tides” manages to inspire, in a world that desperately needs something good right now. And seeing that something can still be made in 2020’s nightmare-ish setting really gives one hope that things can and will return to normal.

And that’s no small feat, so do yourself a favour, if you haven’t already, and check out Shani’s “Changing Tides”.

‘Tiana Kocher’ is ready to ‘Take Over’ as she joins ‘Sage the Gemini’ on hot new single

Tiana Kocher teamed up with multi-platinum recording artist and rapper Sage the Gemini for her latest single release, ‘Take Over’, which she wrote with GRAMMY award-winning writer Candace Wakefield, and Sage the Gemini.

Releasing through Manila Music, the ‘Take Over’ music video was directed by Ali Zamani and produced by Zeus Zamani of AZ Films. Set on a Southern California sun drenched backdrop, ‘Take Over’ is a song about love, but through the eyes of both the male and female’s perspective of a couple finding each other and “taking over” the world together.

“Take Over’ was one of the first songs I ever recorded in Los Angeles,” says Kocher. “I recorded and filmed the music video over two years ago during summer 2018, and it was my first song working with a feature. I had an incredible time working with Sage, who ended up being one of my closest confidants in the industry. I consider him my big brother. I was fortunate enough to be able to work really closely with AZ Films to create a visual that matches the energy of the song. We always want to outdo ourselves, so we came up with the idea of filming the music video on a yacht! I had such a great time working with my closest friends on this music video.”

Sage the Gemini has been featured on several award-winning songs including records with Chris Brown and Flo Rida, and has produced a multitude of songs, most recently for Tinashe and Tyga.

DISCOVER POP INTERVIEWS: British Pop Artist and Actor ‘Alexander James (AJ) Rodriguez’ talks about his fun catchy debut music video and infectious fresh falling in love pop single ‘Your Smile’

Alexander James (AJ) Rodriguez has dropped his debut music video for his second single ‘Your Smile’ – quarantine style.

MUSIC INTERVIEW:

We met with teenage pop and acting sensation Alexander James (AJ) Rodriguez who just dropped his debut music video for his second single ‘Your Smile’ – quarantine style.

Can you tell us a bit about your new record ‘Your Smile’?

I wanted to release a summer song that showcased someone’s smile using the backdrop of a few of Southern California’s stunning locations. I love the beach and so incorporating surfing or flip flops into the lyrics along with a girl’s smile was a must!

‘Your Smile’ is centered around a young girl’s captivating smile that is suddenly noticed by one of her friends, who is looking at her with a different appreciation for the very first time. Her admirer dreams of whisking her away for sandy toes and snow cones on the beach. The lyrics are about how she shouldn’t change a thing as she is fly just the way she is. It is fun, light and bursting full of summer!

Tell us about the music video.

Well, due to the current COVID-19 filming restrictions in Los Angeles, we had to be really careful, so I just had two of my friends and one videographer, plus my mum of course, on set.
We tried to incorporate some of Malibu’s most gorgeous hotspots, and of course me catching a wave at my favourite place, the beach.

Since releasing your debut pop record ‘My Crew’ in July, you have had some great results on the streaming services. Congratulations!

Oh yes, I am thrilled with the response to my music so far. We released my debut record ‘My Crew’ on July 7th and it’s so exciting to see it is currently pushing 200,000 streams. ‘Your Smile’ has been climbing at a rapid rate with over 105,000 streams on Spotify today. I am so grateful to everyone who has listened to the songs so far.

What’s up next for you?

I recording three songs at age twelve during the Los Angeles lockdown, and I am releasing one song consecutively each month, ‘My Crew’, which released on 07.07, ‘Your Smile’ on 08.08 and next in line is ‘Up To You’ on 09.09. I have a further three records penned for later in the year as well as a special Holiday song. I am super excited to tell you about that!

DISCOVER ELECTRONIC: N2BLÜ release an open letter to Co-Dependency using self-love electronic riffs and Independent driving High Energy 80’s synths on new lonely free smash ‘King of Broken Hearts’

N2BLÜ are back with another pop dance hit in the form of ‘King of Broken Hearts’.

‘King of Broken Hearts’ follows their well supported LGBTQIA global smash ‘NSA’.

When asked about the meaning behind the song, Jonathan Arceneaux from the world famous dance pop act N2BLÜ said:

King of Broken Hearts is a biographical look of my romantic history and patterns. I’ve never been in a long-term relationship, yet that’s all I’ve ever wanted. To find my person and have the fairy-tale happily ever after. Unfortunately, I kept repeating the same choices over and over. Choosing the wrong person, over-compromising myself for them, trying to be who they wanted me to be and always ending the same”.

It’s time to break the cycle and become the King/Queen of your own heart. It’s time to Love yourself!

LYRICS FEATURE – N2BLÜ – KING OF BROKEN HEARTS

I may not be your ever after
We had fun at first and moments of rapture
You wouldn’t be my first mistake
But now I’m trying my best to change my fate
And just one time
I’d love to be the first one on your mind
But no matter how it starts
I guess I’ll be the King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts

I don’t wanna be the second choice
A novelty just to fill the void
Eyes open kissing, looking for better
All the love I spent was just a ticket for never
But just for now
I’d love to be the wanted one somehow
When it all falls apart

I guess I’ll be the King of Broken Hearts

The King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts

I sit of this lonely throne, built on heartbreak
Should I go it alone or try to tempt fate?
Under a heavy crown, made of frozen tears
Could there still be hope after all these years?
My kingdom is cracked by a spark of hope
Coming out of the black, learning to let go
The door is my heart and I am the key
Cuz I don’t want to be
The King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts
Of Broken Hearts

The King of Broken Kings
I don’t wanna be, wanna be, wanna be
The King of Broken Hearts
The King of Broken Hearts
I don’t wanna be
I don’t want to be
The King of Broken Hearts

Like most teenagers, friendships go along way for Alexander, who chose to write his first record during COVID-19 about his closest friends, who have been with him since day one since living in America. Having moved from Spain to London to Los Angeles when he was a toddler, all friendships great and small are important.

“It’s been a tough year for everyone, everywhere, so I wanted to sing songs that people could relate to and sing together whatever they were doing,” said, Alexander. “For me, My Crew is a fun song to celebrate my friends who have stuck with me through thick and thin. We all need a good crew around us, especially in times like these, and I am grateful to have mine since day one. I really hope people enjoy the record and vibe along with each other.”

After much postponement, due to the pandemic, Alexander recorded the three records at age twelve with one song consecutively being released each month, ‘My Crew’ (07.07), ‘Your Smile’ (08.08) and ‘Up To You’ (09.09), with a further three records penned for later in the year.

The SAG-AFTRA actor is best known for his British voice-over work on the popular animated series Bee and Puppycat on Cartoon Hangover, where he plays Bee’s loveable landlord, Cardamon. Other acting and voice over credits include the 2020 Golden-Globe winner and Academy-nominee Missing Link, Lance Kinsey’s feature-film All-Stars, and Flock of Four, set in 1959 Los Angeles, directed by Greg Caruso.

The versatile performer has also appeared in various national TV commercials and print campaigns. In 2015, Alexander took to the stage joining the cast of ‘Appropriate’ in the highly acclaimed Centre Theatre Group production at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

N2BLÜ keep up their fast rise to the dance pop top with their proudly rhythmic and jubilant LGBTQIA electronic pop single ‘NSA’–Hear it on ‘The Beat’ at 9 AM Everyday on Londonfm.digital and Discover Electro 24.

Modern Synth Pop and Dance outfit N2BLÜ follow up their previous hit single ‘Electric Dreams’ with a brand new single entitled ‘NSA’.

NSA is a jubilant pop experience with full electronic synth power and intricate electronic rhythms with warm vocals that stay in your head and leave you feeling free and ‘Not Sorry’.

When asked about the story behind the song they proclaimed “NSA is an anthem for all my fellow LGBTQIA brothers and sisters as well as anyone who has ever felt that they have to apologize for being themselves.

I’m (Jonathan) guilty of being one of those people who say ‘I’m sorry’ for everything. I grew up with low self-esteem, I was the fat kid that got picked on for being big, and most people didn’t “get me” because I wasn’t a typical “boy”.

It takes incredible strength to own who you are and never apologize for it.

Own your truth, because you’re NSA.

LYRICS SPOTLIGHT – N2BLÜ – NSA

If I could run to the edge of my mind

Past the point of no return Just to rewind the oceans of time

All the mistakes and lessons I’ve learned

I don’t wanna be the one to always compromise

I’m done with being someone with tears in my eyes

I’m tired of regretting who I was before Cuz

I’m Not Sorry Anymore I’m Not Sorry Anymore

I’m Not Sorry Anymore

Not all your scars are on the outside

Some are tattooed on your soul

They can be the hardest to hide

When you let your heart unfold I shouldn’t apologize for my existence

But it’s hard to reprogram my broken resistance

I want to move on from who I was before Cuz I’m Not Sorry Anymore

I’m Not Sorry Anymore

I’m Not Sorry Anymore

Is it enough for me just to say it out loud?

Could it be that easy just to say that I’m proud?

Wipe away all the lies that they preach

You’re not the one to blame! Never be afraid of who you’re meant to be And always know you are not your pain!

Cuz I’m Not Sorry Anymore

I’m Not Sorry Anymore I’m Not Sorry Anymore

No, I’m Not Sorry Anymore

Oh oh oh I’m Not Sorry Anymore

Whoa I’m Not Sorry Anymore

Oh oh oh Cuz I’m Not Sorry Anymore

I’m Not Sorry Anymore

N2BLÜ HISTORY

The previous hit single from N2BLÜ  was entitled ‘Electric Dreams’.

NSA is out now and follows the previous hit from N2Blu ‘Electric Dreams.

DISCOVER DANCE POP 80’S FUSIONS: Fading to Grey and back into Glory the 80’s return once again in the fused electro sound of ‘Cyber New Romantics’ N2BLÜ with their new cut ‘Electric Dreams’ – On the DISCOVER ELECTRO 24 Playlist now.

Modern Synth Pop and Dance outfit N2BLÜ follow up their previous big single ‘Better Now’ with a brand new single entitled ‘Electric Dreams’.

Remember back in the 80s and 90s when the romantic comedies of the time were so formulaic and predictable, but you love(d) them anyway?

This song is for all the New Romantics out there!

Notions of love, at first sight, meeting the love of your life passing on the street, falling in love and living happily ever after, like a fairy tale.

Electric Dreams love letter to somewhat simpler times of romance before we all got lost in a sea of technology and lost our ability to connect in the real world.

LYRICS SPOTLIGHT – N2BLÜ – ELECTRIC DREAMS

In a world of all things digital How do you find something real?

That spark of something magical

That makes you feel It was love at first sight, how it happened one night

And it was more than it seemed It’ll happen someday

If you can find your way Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams

Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams

Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams Electric Dreams

It all just seems so complicated

Yet so natural for some Comparisons just leave you frustrated Thinking where’s my someone?

Love to the moon and back, with its own soundtrack

To the perfect romantic scene It’ll happen my friend If you can find the end

Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams

Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams Electric Dreams Electric Dreams

Only you can write your story And choose your destiny

Only you can own your glory And shape your reality

Only you can write your story And choose your destiny

Only you can own your glory And shape your reality

Through these electric dreams

Electric Dreams

Through these electric dreams

Electric Dreams Oh Electric, Electric Dreams Electric Dreams

Through these electric dreams Electric Dreams Electric Dreams

DISCOVER ELECTRONIC POP DROPS OF 2020: ‘N2BLÜ’ release a meditative, infectious ‘pop mantra’ of a single with the reflective, catchy, warm and poppy sleek journey of ‘Better Now’

Pop Dance masters N2BLÜ return in true style with an incredible, epic and different pop single.

The new single ‘Better Now’ comes packed with an electro ‘Cloudbusting’ beat vibe and ‘The Might be Giants’ pop flair and could be their biggest hit yet.

Shimmering synths, pounding drums, warm sensitive vocals and lyrics, 80’s pop sensibility and a big song treatment.

If this doesn’t stick in your head nothing will.

When asked about the meaning behind the single Jonathan from N2BLÜ said:

Better Now is a very personal song about a past relationship and a past version of myself (Jonathan). I used to feel unworthy of love and that lead me to relationships and people that weren’t the healthiest. The journey to self acceptance is not an easy one and it never really ends. It’s something we have to work on every day and all we can really hope for is to be better now than we were then”.

LYRICS SPOTLIGHT – BETTER NOW

Better Now by N2BLÜ

Just like a hole in the heart of the ocean

You make me wish that I could drown

Keep pouring myself into your void of emotions

As your anchor pulls me down

And I’m losing myself just to feed your ego

But it’s never enough to make this love grow

Even though we don’t fit, you don’t stop me trying Leaving me the only one crying

But I know better now I know better I I know better now I know better I I know better now Better now

Better now Better now Better now Better now

Wearing the mask of someone who knows love

Your flashing colors draw me in

Painting my fantasy as you fit me like a glove

Where you end and I begin?

You keep drawing me in with flames of passion

When all that I want is your love reaction

Even though it’s not right, I still do it for you

Hoping someday you’ll be the one that’s true

But I know better now I know better I I know better now I know better I I know better now Better now

Better now Better now Better now Better now

You were the one I thought I wanted You were the one I thought I needed You were what I thought I deserved I deserve

You were the one I thought I wanted You were the one I thought I needed You were what I thought I deserved I deserve…

Better now I know better I I know better now I know better I

I know better now Better now Better now

Better now Better now Better now I deserve better now I deserve better now

Better now Better now Better now I know better I

I know better now I know better Better now

Better now Better now
