Out of Breath is the title of Philip’s debut single which was released on the 30th of April 2021.
The song is a kind of “burnout-anthem”, which deals with themes like overthinking and the fear of not being able to live up to your own expectations. These thoughts are in many ways a sign of these crazy times we are living in, where Corona virus and a seemingly endless lockdown has made it difficult to remain optimistic. Furthermore it touches upon how it may seem as if you “have it all in your hands”, and have everything figured out (for example on social media), when in reality you are struggling to pick yourself up and keep going.

Philip is the 22-year-old danish singer and songwriter Philip Bæk Hedegaard, who fell in love with music when he got his first guitar at the age of 13. After years of intensive and disciplined practice, and a dream of attending the Royal Danish Academy of Music as a guitarist, he discovered songwriting. The guitar became more of a tool in the hunt for “the good song”, and the dream of becoming a guitarist was replaced by the dream of becoming an artist.

Philip explores the modern pop sound in combination with organic elements. With a playful approach to production, and a youthful and honest lyrical universe, he finds himself somewhere in between the naive and thoughtful.

Kai aka Harmogy, is a German House, Tech House and Deep House Producer, trying to get into the music industry. His dream is to bring well-produced music for House fans, to encourage people start to dancing again.

Tony Cobain is an Actor, Comedian, Writer, and Recording Artist. His artistic roots began early as a child. He began performing stand-up comedy while still in school. He would leave school and perform stand-up comedy as an after school activity. He is a self-taught piano player and guitarist. While in high school he studied theatre and performed in several plays such as: The Laramie Project and Danny, and the deep blue sea. As a senior in high school he auditioned for several top acting Universities in New York City such as: Julliard, New York University, and AMDA(American Musical and Dramatic Academy).

Banded Future is an American hip hop duo formed in 2021 in Los Angeles, California, consisting of rappers/singers Zap Rath and Jericho Law. Spliffy Mars is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2019. Growing up around areas of Hartford and spending time in the suburbs before moving to East Atlanta at 14, he claims he’d been to so many schools with so many different people and backgrounds, that this diversity influenced the variety in his taste in music and style.

Growing up listening to artists like Chief Keef, Nirvana, Kanye West, Jay Electronica, Future and Tyler The Creator are just a handful of his inspirations. His unorthodox catchy melodic type style is often compared to artists like Playboi Carti, Young Thug, or Chief Keef, but Mars has his own unique style and voice. As he raps and sings over hard hitting 808s and energetic ethereal melodies his music basically just makes you want to sit and listen so you can relate or get up and have a fun time. Having always had a natural talent for songwriting, it wasn’t until late 2018 that Spliffy Mars decided to release his music into the world via SoundCloud. Mars talks about many topics from his lifestyle choices his upbringing and serious topics that he goes through in life while making it sound like a party song at the same time with songs like BraVo! or Lemonade. The whole album itself sets itself aside from many and is truly a pure album for those who just want to live life at the fullest potential with no regrets. Mars also claimed the album isn’t a story telling album it’s a project for you to just tap into his side of things as far as his emotions and different moods.

All the songs are very specific to the style Mars has been embodying recently. You can very much describe his music as very fantasy like and bouncy having melodies similar to pop music or having heavy inspiration from pop elements and the genre itself. At the same time when he is not using his fast paced and hyper flows, Mars can dumb down his vocal state to a real calm and low vibrational tone that will seemingly set the mood for any type of activity that involves relaxation or being under the influence.

Being versatile between these two styles he calls “Pop Trap and Spacious Music” it makes the music more exciting and more pulling to the listener. It’s not like u have an album full of the same song over and over again. A prime example on this project is like listening to the third track “Her Dance” produced by platinum producer Pierre Bourne, being an upbeat song with a faster tempo and having a happier melody then going into the fourth track with the song opening with a slower paced tempo and a melody sounding like it came straight out of a 1990s arcade game. Going towards the end of the project the songs go into a real chill state and ends with “Friends Till The End” which is a classic.

Born in Owensboro; the industrial, medical, retail and cultural hub of western Kentucky, Gerry Smoot let the elements of his surroundings birth a multi-instrumentalist musician. Propelled to learn and eager to match his influences; Jeff Lorber, Prince, D’Angelo, George Duke, Art Tatum, and John Blackwell Jr., just to name a few, Gerry was on the “keys” by the age of 2.

With more inspirations from Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, Gerry was playing the drums by age 7, bass guitar by age 9 and having full music recording sessions by age 12. The dedication and passion for music was a born identity. This vision manifested itself when at the age of 15, Gerry accompanied gospel jazz keyboard producer Ben Tankard on the organ.

“When I was little I used to always write songs and was forever singing. Koko Nova is the next buzz in the alternative pop scene. Her soulful storytelling is brought to life by her exquisite sound, vivid lyrics and carefully crafted sonic experiences. The song is a multi-faceted soul/electro-pop gem with a touch of funk and exotic sounds. On the surface it may appear just like another love song, but don’t get fooled so easily! Originally inspired by her love of (or rather addiction to) tea and of course by an important ex-lover, the song has a much deeper message. It draws attention to addictions in our lives: coffee, cigarettes, love, social media, you name it. The more you listen to the song, the more you start travelling through various visions and feelings that it evokes. Koko collaborated on her debut single with a talented producer, Retro Island Studio, who was able to help her bring to life all her visions.

There are multiple instruments throughout the song, but one in particular was key to giving the song a touch of exotic flair: there’s an Indian sitar motif right in the beginning that repeats a couple of times throughout the song, and connects with the tea theme.

Koko grew up in Hungary, the country of Liszt and Bartok, where she was introduced to the world of music as a toddler thanks to her parents. As a child, she loved dancing and singing and began playing the violin. During high school she decided to pursue her interest in science and set off to London to study Computer Science. After graduating, she worked in the corporate world. She thought she found her dream job when she one day realised that she was caged, and far from her free-spirited self. After working and travelling all around the world, and with a failed startup under her belt, Koko finally decided to pursue her lifelong passion for music. She is currently based in London and Budapest, collaborating with those who share her artistic vision.

Eskeel releases her debut album “Moral Images”, with a healing song called “Trees”.

In her 15 years of songwriting “Trees” holds a special place in the heart of the young artist, Evely Skeel aka Eskeel.

Weeks after Evely got out of hospital having her thyroid removed she fought everyday to get out of bed. Being in nature, walking in the forest among the trees brought her peace and helped her heal from the mental wound that the very aggressive graves disease had caused her, a disease that had haunted her since her young teens. Physically drained and mentally exhausted Evely found comfort gazing at the trees while thinking about the animals and people that suffered fates equal or even worse than her.

She imagined trees holding these sufferers in warm embrace and healing them. This thought washed over her being in calmness and brought her a sense of relief.
“Even when suffering greatly there is strength in thinking about others who suffer as well and what you can do for them” she says.
The song came like a flash and it would be the first song on the album to present one of the key things in Evely’s music – Compassion.
The song kept inspiring Evely to fight for her life and find ways to heal. After three years she recovered and decided to release the song along with the rest of the album, hoping that the song will help others as it did for her.

It is the follow-up to their full length release, AfroSoul Volume II: MaZai, hailed as “earthy and rootsy and good for your ears” by CBC’s Errol Nazareth. The Proper Authorities is the solo project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Keith Adams. “I prefer to be formless, like water,” JM says. “I once heard a quote from Bruce Lee that said ‘If you put water in a vase, it becomes the vase,’ so put me in any music genre, and I become the genre, like water.”

Much like his genre-melding yet fluid ‘formless’ musical creations, Jesus Muhammed as an artist is a bit of an enigma. Music – for JM – comes to his mind in mental waves and flashes of colors, shapes and patterns.

Whether he has a mild form of the fascinatingly weird disorder known as synesthesia or it’s just the way his musical brain works – whatever the source of his genius, it’s a mesmerizing mix of electronica, hip hop rhythms, other-worldly vocals and street-style rhyming that he creates.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Saint Albans, Queens, JM took music lessons from a former James Brown guitarist, and was surrounded by 1950s pop and 70s reggae played by his music-loving parents. They bought JM and his brother a full set-up of instruments as they were growing up, but while his mother hoped he’d learn to play classic pop songs, JM instead wanted to bring to life the music he heard in his head.

“When I first started making music, I was excited and anxious – I wanted to create more than I wanted to chase tale,” he says. “Creating music keeps me alive.”

A self-described loner and artsy brooding character as a teen, JM’s life revolved around his Walkman and a ton of CDs in his book bag. He wrote lyrics as a child, but it was a friend in High School that spurred him on to compete in rap battles – he would battle rappers and spoken-word artists from other neighborhoods, then go home and write more scathing rhymes to be ready for the next day’s battle. His musical passion turned serious as he started a group called tha Villianz Gang. They played some shows and had a great time, but massive egos and internal strife tore the group apart. JM’s rap-battle talent and reputation quickly exceeded his competition, so he decided to ratchet his music career up another level with a music manager. He’d go on to perform in small New York City venues, paying his music dues (as they call it) and learning the ropes of the music business and performing.

JM used this time to begin reinventing himself as an artist and knew that he was going to start making his own rules for his music and career. JM came out of his reinvention musically reborn, focusing intently on the visual aspect of his music, and the mystery.

“This is music I can see,” he says. “The art is a response to my existence.”

Kaila Love’s Sporty Empowerment Anthem Reaches NBA2k21 & ESPN.
Kaila Love is a Hip Hop artist from the Bay Area, CA who went from a homeless teenager to a college graduate on a full scholarship from UC Berkeley.

She started becoming known around campus for hosting Hip Hop events, being the president of the Students for Hip Hop Club, and designing a unique Hip Hop curriculum to teach a class on Tupac, and even performing her original music at her graduation in front of 25,000 people! Since graduating from Cal, she’s gone on to earn an additional degree in Recording Arts.

Finding out that there are less than 5% of women in audio engineering, she wanted to pave the way and show other women that if she can do it, so can they!

You can see the way she lifts up other women in her community through her most recent work, “Half Time” – which is featured on ESPN and in the NBA2k21 video game soundtrack and official playlist.

Perfect for Women’s History Month, this dynamic music video features women ranging from age 16 to 91. As an independent artist, Kaila Love is intentional with who is a part of her projects. For example, in the “Half Time” video – she features two Black-owned, family-operated businesses – King’s Boxing Gym in Oakland, CA and Soaring Eagles Taekwondo School in Vallejo, CA.

She states, “If I’m going to spend money, I want it to go back to the community – not just the one time payment I spend to rent the space, but money that’s generated beyond. For example, three members of my filming crew actually ended up getting paid memberships to the gym. This is what I seek to do throughout my career and on a much larger level – connect people and generate wealth for all those around me.”

Cincinnati, Ohio based Brian Napier JR. also known as The Great Raw records controversial album in his home studio, after nearly having an intense debate with a preacher. The Great Raw took his minor frustration & channeled it all lyrically. Echolily is one of those rare artists who come into your life without announcement. And never leaves. That’s what happened to us, and frankly, we love her all the more for it. This young, immensely talented woman, rocked our worlds with her brand new release, entitled rather appropriately “Under the Clocks (Stay)”. And the tune resonated with something so deeply embedded and thoroughly honest inside us that since then, we just can’t stop listening to this amazing track. It’s literally on repeat, and what we particularly love about it is that it never gets old.

You know how, with some songs, you listen to them one, two, ten times, but then after that, you’re kinda sick of them? That doesn’t happen with “Under the Clocks (Stay)”. Maybe it’s because of the echo chamber effect (since it was literally recorded in an echo chamber, true to the artist’s name). Maybe it’s Echolily’s hushed, sensual voice slithering into your earbuds and refusing to let go. Or maybe it’s the fact that with every new listen, you find another thing to hold on to. Another sound or fragment, or word that you just seem to understand a little bit better.

Echolily definitely isn’t one of those artists who scores one hit wonders, because her lyrics are just too complex for anything as mundane as that. Here is an artist who knows how to pull on your strings in just the right way to get into your head and never let go. She is a skilled lyricist, and an accomplished musician, and together, these two skills combine to create a powerfully unique track.

“Under the Clocks (Stay)” is a love song, but you don’t need to be in love to enjoy it. Or rather, you need to be in love with life, and with the miracle that is music, to appreciate the masterpiece this song is.

‘Tellin’ You’ is as song that represents the artist’s feelings towards his significant other. The song starts with a catchy hook, with easy to follow melodies, as well as nice harmonies. As the verse comes in, the lyrics and delivery get a little more explicit, but still maintains that easy to listen to vibe.

DJ and Producer Eduke has already made a name for himself as one of the top 30 Tech House artist in 2020 and 2021 according to Beatstats.com. Eduke did not start making dance music until 2013, even though he has been producing and writing for over 20 years. Prior to 2013 he made commercial pop music and wrote acoustic ballads which many in the underground dance scene shy away from. It was not until he lost his mother from a battle with Cancer that Eduke decided to pivot into House music, Tech house and Techno with a little stint in Edm.

When asked what was it about the loss of his mother that inspired him to start making House music, he said “After I lost my mother to Cancer, I didn’t want to make or listen to sad music any more. Dance music to me was the perfect alternative. In fact, I started producing dance tracks on my lap-top as a way to deal with the pain of watching a loved one wither and die. Producing uplifting, high energy tracks was my distraction. It took me to a place away from the gloom and hopelessness”.

The name Eduke is an African name borrowed from his mother after her passing on May 14th 2014. The artist decided to use the name as a way to pay respect to someone whom he says “sacrificed her entire life for her Faith and her children”.

Eduke says his need to spin music was the result of fate and survival. The music literally saved him in one of his darkest hours. Kai Nanfelt’s song, “Sober,” tackles difficult topics such as mental health, substance abuse and suicide.

Just three months after its December release, the track has already garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify.

“This song [Sober] is written for my childhood best friend,” Nanfelt explained in an interview. “I wrote it one day while I was studying abroad in London, after he tried to commit suicide; it wasn’t the first time he had tried to do this. The first time was when we were in 8th grade, and we’ve been as thick as thieves ever since.”

“This time was especially hard for my friend because it was the first time we had been apart from one another. I was normally there for him in his worst moments, but it was much harder to do from a distance. He always struggled with substance abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts and anxiety. That day, he tried to overdose on pills and booze, but called me in the middle of the night (London-time). He told me what he did, and I immediately called his parents before they got him hospitalized. It was around 3 am for me, and I had work the next morning at a music label. I couldn’t sleep, though, so I decided to write ‘Sober’ instead.”

Nanfelt continued, “My emotions came pouring out, and as I cried over my guitar, I realized I had stayed up until 6 am – and finished my first draft of the song. I sent it to my friend, got ready for work, and waited for him to wake up and hear it. We had a good cry, and he vowed that he would never try to hurt himself again. Since then, he’s done much better, and brags that I ‘released a song about him.’ I am so proud of him for the progress he’s made, and this release was a testament to that growth.”

The Boston University graduate only recently found the time to prioritize his music career following the loss of his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the outbreak, the Rhode Islander conducted public relations for Boston Calling, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands Music Festivals – in addition to other jobs in the music industry in London and Boston.

After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerged with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformations to reach this point as a hip hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.  

There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects. The first project could’ve been the last. The reasons for making another project is AO does not give up so easily. Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.  

From the beginning AO went by stage name King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters. The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label.

The Agency Operative went through another name change. AO decided to go with the name: A.O. C.entral C.ommand. The reason for another name change was that fans have the option to shorten the name A.O. C.C. or can say the entire name.
“Another reason for the name change is the name would clarify that I am my own boss. The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot.””

A.O. CC returned on a mission with a new album – the name of the album was Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. The album was released on I-tunes and Google Play in 2015.

The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. Already putting in over 10 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third instalment to his discography with Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With – released in 2017.

An album two years in the making, ‘Episode 4: Operation Blackbox’ has been a lengthy labor of love. Musician Elijah Burroughs-Neeley attributes his love for music from his church background; where he grew up singing in church since the age of three. How and where did you get together?

“Just randomly in March when we had just become furloughed in London, and had an out of the blue flow of melodies and lyrics that just popped in my head and then moved to Vienna where we got the chance to concentrate on writing songs.”

“As above, list whatever might be of relevance. This song was always written for it to be sung by will smith. The moment the chorus came in my head I rushed home to write it down with his voice I my head. I recored the song mimicking my impression of his voice and how I felt he would sing it.”

After a divorce, a life threatening trip to the hospital and a series of other setbacks, ThroneMuzik knew he had to keep going.

“I had even ended up with COVID. During my time of quarantine and healing, I recorded this song.” says ThroneMuzik

ThroneMuzik is an artist, engineer and producer. He has been involved with music since the age of 5. At age 10 he visited his first recording studio. At age 15, he built his own. At age 16, he became a born again believer in Christ and began to create music about his faith. At age 23, he opened his official recording studio ThroneMuzik Studios. He got married at age 26. Unfortunately the marriage ended in a divorce. Right when he was going to quit music, a man by the name of William Hodge met him for the first time and said to him “don’t quit the music man”.
After hearing those words, ThroneMuzik began to finish what he started.

Kietell is a 23 year old rapper and producer from Mississauga, Ontario.

His love for music started even before he was born: “According to my parents, my dad would put headphones on my mom’s stomach and I would kick to the beat of whatever my dad was playing at the time, which is why they gave me the nickname ‘Knox’.” says the rapper.

This is why it only made sense for this young rapper to pursue what he truly loves and can’t live without – music.

He has just released a new song called ‘Pressure’.
“My song Pressure was written while I was at work. The workplace didn’t have a lot of work for me to do so I found a spot where I could just zone out and write. It took me about 45 minutes to complete. Then that same day, I went home and made the beat for it. I knew I wanted something aggressive and hard hitting so I had to include those ‘War Cry’ type trumpets, strings, and electric guitars to make an aggressive beat.”

Snowballed by an unprecedented global crisis, suddenly R&B-rapper-songwriter Bosco Babyy (a.k.a. Myles Austin), was forced to alter his artistic direction as the world hovered on the brink of change.

This year, Madrid hosted The European Cinema Festival, where the screening program and the winners were announced on Friday the 26 of February.

Among the winners, Fadi Awad won three awards for “We Are Here” for the Best Music Video Award, “Reach The Sky ft. Addie Nicole (Drew G’s Dirty Pop Remix)” won the Best Editing Award, and “Reach The Sky ft. Addie Nicole (StoneBridge & Damian Hall Extended Epic Mix)” won the Best Producer Award!

This is the 7th Award for Fadi’s awesome score “We Are Here”, after winning in “The Canadian Cinematography Awards”, “The Global Peace Song Awards”, “The Best Shorts Competition”, “Eurasia International Film Festival”, “Amsterdam World International Film Festival” and the “Queen Palm International Film Festival”!

As for the other winning tracks, they are a part of Fadi Awad’s project “Reach The Sky” that is labelled by “Proconwire”; this EP was charted on Billboard, Euro Indie Chart, and top digital stores and DJs platforms. “Reach The Sky (Drew G’s Dirty Pop Remix)” had previously won in the “Oniros Film Awards”, and “Reach The Sky (StoneBridge & Damian Hall Extended Epic Mix)” had previously won in The “LA Music Video Awards”.

The Kith is an up-and-coming DJ duo consisting of two brothers born and raised in the Netherlands.

The duo is unique as the youngest brother is only 16 years old. Together they are at the start of their music career. Besides Slap House / Brazilian Bass they also make some heavier Bass House tracks.

– This is the life motto for Liberian born Afro-pop/R&B artist Emmanuel Quiah.

Now based in Arizona, USA, Quiah was born during the Civil War era in Liberia. He lost his father during the war and came to the United States as a refugee with his mother and three siblings.
Music became his refuge and helped him deal with the hardships e and his family endured.
“I would turn to music and play songs for hours and hours for every emotion I felt” says Quiah.

In high school, he began playing the guitar and started writing his own lyrics and songs; constructing soothing lyrics around amazing guitar chords inspired by musicians like Eric Clapton and Tommy Emmanuel.

He has now released his own music which has a pop sensibility while clinging on to the afro beat sounds of his roots and the blues he studied in high school.

His latest released is called ‘All In’:

Epic has released a new EP, ‘2 Love or ‘Not 2 Love’.

BE WITH ME is the first single from the E.P. ‘2 LOVE OR NOT 2 LOVE’. In this song Epic shares how one of his lovers wants something serious with him. She wants a serious relationship yet Epic still refuses to settle down, though it’s obvious that this is the girl for him.

The second single on this E.P. is SO FAR which is about Epic being away from one of his lovers and the distance begins taking a toll on him.

SHAWTY BAD, the third single, is about Epic finally finding the one for him or so it may seem.

The fourth song on this E.P. is titled 2 LOVE OR NOT 2 LOVE which is solely about Epic realizing one of his women has fallen in love. Epic also begins to question his own feelings for her causing this single to be very interesting.

The last song on 2 Love or Not 2 Love is DA GAME 101 which is the first time where Epic is getting played. This is one of the situations that may have been what led Epic down his path of playerism.

Epic Drip (Epic) is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who is currently living in Germany. He developed a love for music at an early age and started his hip hop journey listening to the greats; Biggie, 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, Snoop Dogg, DMX. As he aged, he moved on to artists like 50 Cent, Eminem, Ludacris, TI, Lil Wayne and various others who aren’t named but definitely played equal roles in Epic’s life. Epic began high school in Texas where he was introduced to Chopped N Screwed music and that Texas vibe. That vibe played a major role in the sounds Epic Drip creates today. 

Upon graduation from high school in 2003, Epic attended Fayetteville State University, where, he once again embraced his passion for music using his stage name “Da’Future”. He further honed his musical skills as an intern for the campus radio station, WFSS 91.9 FM and local radio station, Foxy 99 (WZFX 99.1 FM). While at FOXY 99, he got his first opportunity to be onstage with big time artists during Summer Jam 06.

Epic realized he could no longer refer to himself as “Da’Future”, so changed his stage name to “Epic Moment”. “Epic Moment” was actually given to Epic by one of his close friends and co-workers who made beats and was a fan of Epic’s music. 

He performed for the first time in 2013 at Zero Degrees nightclub in his hometown, where he received a lot of respect and was thought to have a New York sound. Due to the positive feedback, Epic continued making local live performances.  

Approaching year 2018, Epic stepped up his delivery dramatically. His timing, his bars and his song writing skills evolved into what we see today as “Epic Drip”. In 2020, he released his first two singles, “F*ck Wit Me” and “Like Money”. 

2021 has started off truly “Epic”. Epic not only released his first E.P. “Infatuation” featuring three singles “Ballin’ on Em”, “Settle Down” and “My Shawty”, but also begun working on his first official video titled, “Type of _”. On January 10th, Epic launched his YouTube channel, “Drip Service Ent.”, where he posted videos for all his current releases. On the 19th of January, Epic created his first official website to promote his brand, which launched on February 1, 2021.

“Body Language” is Chad Rubin’s third single off of his upcoming
album set to release this summer (2021).
The song is a look into the complicated feelings that come with a relationship. Being in love with someone you know is no good for you yet still, you can’t seem to stay away from the physical attraction. Seeing a way out, but not being able to take it while following them through the maze of emotions and human nature.

The music was produced to feel that driving force such a relationship can hold. The chorus was made to be the tension of the song releasing to a point of inebriation and no cares about anything except for dancing with that person.

Chad Rubin is a singer-songwriter, producer, musical director for film and theatre as well as lead man in his band, Chad Rubin & Breezy.

After writing and recording his first album in 2012 under a record and touring deal earned from being the writer and drummer for a touring pop punk band, Chad took on a job as an electrical engineer for the government for several years. He continued to write music and eventually realized he was living someone else’s life. This led to Chad returning to LA to self-produce and record his EP “Brighter Days” which led to singles with producer Curtis Douglas and eventually an A&R and Distribution deal under Sony affiliate Loren Israel which the upcoming album is being developed under.

Chad also acts, most recently in the film “Sweet Sunshine” in which he acted, produced, co-wrote and performed the soundtrack for as well as D2 advisor for all the performance scenes. Chad is currently slowing getting back to performing live in Arizona and Huntington Beach as he prepares to push the album nationally when things return to normalcy. Hoping to be on tour by Fall 2021. He will be continuing to release content including new singles leading up to the LP release.

Babyface Basil has just released a new track called ‘LSD’

The song “LSD” has been long since coming from a reputation that has been only known from words directly spoken into ears, eyes forced upon by watching the lightning strike of pure and spontaneous ingenuity and hands touched in gestures of respect, lips brushed by gentle romance, and brain cells burned by the resentment of a torturous society and the effects of having been barely able to remember anything of it at all.

The audience wonders, is the woman, the illusive “she” by which Basil seems fixated upon simply a metaphor for the memories he wishes to regain?

The instrumentation, produced by the illusive recluse known as AudioXanax from nearby Philadelphia, warbles electronic melodies of angelic vocals while harmonious strings push the song forward into suggestive territories only to be caught again as the viewers attention is snapped into motion by a well selected drum section, accented by a palate of electronic modulative effects. Each crack of Basil’s voice sounds intentional and each mesmorizing accent to the instrumental carries the song into new planes of reflection. We will allow you to be the judge of the experience.

To define Babyface Basil himself in 2021 is to define oneself through a drug addled haze of memories that only exist in the minds of the people that were left with an everlasting impression of him, drawn upon as a mere record and referendum that stirs every emotion on the spectrum (except fulfilment) depending on the particular event that he’s being reminded of. Sometimes amusing, sometimes painful. These are the experiences that Babyface Basil has arranged into a stained glass mosaic of textures and abstract statements reminiscent of Supreme Clientele Ghostface Killah’s codex of indelibly flavourful textures that are as irresistible to hear and revel in as they are to diagnose and unravel as they tangle themselves around your psyche in real time.
