Karma Kids have been hard at work! Spending most of 2020 in the studio and preparing for their album ‘Vibes’, which is due out June 11th through LEGEND Distribution.

Joel Benoiton aka The EL Clan is a 20 year old rapper/songwriter from Peterborough England.
“I would say the most unique part about my music is the lyrics, it’s the best way for me to express my emotions and opinions on different subject matters.” says the rapper
His latest single ‘Stages Of Grief’ focuses on how hard it is to lose a loved one. Each verse takes place at a different point in time. The first verse takes place quite soon after the loved one has passed and the emotions are still very raw. The second verse talks about how over time it will feel better and that one just has to keep moving forward. The third verse takes place years later and it shows that just because a person has been gone for so long doesn’t mean that they fade away from your memory.
“This song means a lot to me and it’s about something that everyone will experience at some point.” he adds.
‘Besame Mucho’ is a Latin jazz classic song that Kesha Janaan grew up listening to and fell in love with. She added her own smooth R & B vocal style and featured her father, Norman Brown’s signature smooth jazz guitar sound, creating a buttery smooth masterpiece.
Kesha is the daughter of Grammy award-winning jazz guitarist, Norman Brown. She has been a background singer for icons such as Deniece Williams & Bobby Caldwell and has toured as a background vocalist with her father and saxophonist Marion Meadows. She is a member of Sisters of Unbreakable Love (S.O.U.L.), a band she created with her sisters and was featured on their debut single Hold On. The band was featured on two tracks on Norman Brown’s 2017 album Let It Go. Those tracks were Conversations and Living Out Your Destiny.
Kesha released her debut single, Wayfaring Stranger, in March of 2020.
Get to know Shraddha Woltron, who have just released their new song ‘Will Smiff Sing This Song’. Who are the band members and what do they play?
“This collaboration is written by Shraddha, I reached out to Francis as his voice would really suit this track and produced by Mix!” How and where did you get together?
“Just randomly in March when we had just become furloughed in London, and had an out of the blue flow of melodies and lyrics that just popped in my head and then moved to Vienna where we got the chance to concentrate on writing songs.” What are the band’s main influences?
“Ziggy Marley, Mike Love, Tash Sultana, Rising Appalachia , KBong”
Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?
“Although new to music and due to current circumstances with public events being closed I have been lucky to have had some songs played on BBC Introducing Radio and through that play got connected by other local radio stations.”
Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?
“Before lockdown I was in the cycle of working hard to save up to go traveling to the next place etc, When went to Australia I overstayed my visa and got a 3 year ban from the country.”

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?
“All over! Italy with production by Mix Jones, Nigeria with Francis vocals, and Austria with writing, backing and mixing.”
Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
“All songs that I write are made intentionally to be lyrically suitable for all ages, with the aim to uplift and flood joy to the listener while letting the body have a bop and groove.” Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?
“If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on. This song is about everyone, everywhere, all ages, faiths, colours having a good time together, moving, singing or whatever makes their hearts warm.”
Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?
“As above, list whatever might be of relevance. This song was always written for it to be sung by will smith. The moment the chorus came in my head I rushed home to write it down with his voice I my head. I recored the song mimicking my impression of his voice and how I felt he would sing it.” Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release. Obviously the more eye-catching this is the better.

As someone who was born in the ’90s Jaystarmusician had a natural inclination towards music, and that is what encouraged him to become part of the music industry. At the young age of 7, Jaystar started learning the piano and that is when it became clear that he had a natural ability. Soon, he began to create his own melodies and recorded his own vocals.
At the age of 15, Jaystar took part in a school competition where he discovered his singing and songwriting talent. He won that contest with a song that he wrote and produced on his own, named ‘Need You Back’ and, ever since that, he has known his career path. He is a resourceful and talented artist who not only sings but also writes and produces his own songs even today. Due to his devotion, enthusiasm, and strong fortitude, he has recently been gaining more popularity than other artists in the industry.
With a French background raised in South London, Jaystarmusician makes music that uniquely takes from his multiple cultural identities, with a hint of raw and street sound while still interlacing it with the classic R&B sound we all love.
Jaystarmusician has always been consistent in releasing music. In 2012 he released song called “Signs of Making Love” that was the top five selected tunes on channel AKA for almost five weeks in a row. It earned the second position in the top 50 selected songs of 2012. This song was so terrific that it also received a few plays on CHOICE FM by Jenny Francis.
Jaystarmusician who is still a young musician, has a huge fanbase in France and Africa, his hard work had earned him to tour and support international stars such as T Pain and promoted large-scale events across Africa to tens of thousands of fans.
2018 was a breakthrough year for Jaystarmusician as an independent artist, he managed to gain and impressive 850 thousand streams on Spotify alone for his self entitled EP “Ride or Die”. Since then he started to create a buzz and solidified his status in the UK RnB scene as one of the hard working talent to emerge on the scene.
Despite being busy chasing his passion, and getting his dreams to come true, he knows how to maintain a balance between his social and private life. He is found to be sometimes active on social media platforms against injustice subjects that happens the world, but he also never fails to amaze his fans with constant.
After the huge success of ‘Buss It Down’ and ‘3AM’ single releases, Jaystarmusician is back after a short break. This time his song is named ‘Hold You Down’ which was originally a freestyle made by him in 10 minutes but then mixed and mastered into a complete version by Jaystar musician at the request of his admirers.
